What You’ll Do:

  • Perform comprehensive physical assessments to guide individualized care plans
  • Deliver expert nursing interventions that promote optimal outcomes
  • Manage pain and comfort with precision and empathy
  • Administer medications safely and effectively
  • Collect and handle specimens with accuracy
  • Support nutritional needs and overall well-being
  • Provide education and discharge planning to empower patients and families

Schedule

  • Full Time (some Part Time and Per Diem may be available, but we are mostly looking to fill Full Time positions)
  • 8 hour, 10 hour, and 12 hour shifts are available, subject to specific departments

Shift

  • 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift positions are available as needed.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

Clinical Nurse I’s at Magnet designated facilities only require a BSN or that a BSN program is started within one year of hire date and BSN degree is attained within two years of the starting the BSN program.

BSN preferred.

Additional requirements for specific departments are as follows:

  • Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): One year recent PACU experience in an acute care hospital or critical care unit (Sub ICU and Emergency Department included) required 
  • Pre/Post Unit: One year nursing experience in a perioperative setting in an acute care hospital, an outpatient surgery center, or SUB ICU and Emergency Department required.

License Required:

Registered Nurse in the State of California - Current and in good standing.

License Preferred:

N/A

Certifications Required

  • Current BLS certification prior to clinical rotation.
  • Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): ACLS and PALS.
  • Pre/Post Unit: ACLS and PALS.

Certifications Preferred

  • Post-Acute Care Unit (PACU): ASPAN certification.
  • Pre/Post Unit: Specialty certification.
