With that, we're excited and honored to have been recognized as a 2025 Great Place to Work and 2025 Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare.

About the role

Two Chairs is seeking a highly strategic and operational Client Solutions Director to join our Growth organization. This role will 1) guide client and internal functional teams through the health plan implementation process, from early in the sales cycle through an initial launch period, and 2) partner on solutions initiatives across clients.

The ideal candidate for this role is organized, proactive, has an understanding of all stages of a health plan relationship, comfortable leading client conversations, and skilled at building relationships both internally and externally. You have great project management skills, are effective at working cross-functionally, and are able to influence without authority. Lastly, you’re a creative problem solver and effective at reaching agreement through negotiation.

Core Areas of ResponsibilityHealth Plan Implementation & Partner Solutioning (80%)
  • Requirements Alignment: Partner with Sales during late-stage deal cycles to scope technical/operational feasibility and present implementation capabilities to prospective payer executives. Define operational workflows, data integrations, and clinical referral pathways.
  • Lead Complex Onboarding: Direct end-to-end implementation for large-scale, enterprise health plan partners from contract negotiation to go-live.
  • Issue & Risk Resolution: Proactively identify bottlenecks, technical blockers, or regulatory constraints and drive rapid mitigation strategies before go-live timelines are impacted.
  • Cross-Functional Governance: Establish implementation governance structures, drive cross-functional alignment, and maintain executive sponsor visibility.
  • Post-Launch Optimization: Lead post-launch transition to Account Management, monitor health metrics during stabilization phases, and identify opportunities for line-of-business expansion.
  • Cross-Payer Initiative Support: Pitch in flexibly to support and contribute to cross-payer initiatives and strategic projects as they arise across the organization.
Scalable Process Building & Playbook Development (20%)
  • Implementation Process Scaling: Capture key learnings during the implementation process and make sure lessons are applied to future client implementations. Assist with improving the documentation and standardization of Two Chairs processes and best practices.
  • Develop Playbook: Build reusable implementation playbooks, toolkits, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to increase the effectiveness of implementations.

Impact and Success Indicators

Where you’ll make an impact in the first 90 days:
  • Establish Cross-Functional Rapport: Build collaborative, high-trust partnerships with internal team leads.
  • Lead Active Implementations: Take ownership of ongoing or upcoming health plan partner launches, immediately establishing a project charter and governance.
  • Audit & Standardize Playbooks: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current implementation workflows and establish standardized project management structures.
Where you’ll make an impact in the first year:

  • Expand Footprint: Directly influence revenue growth by expanding partner integration pathways (e.g., expanding into new geographic markets or lines of business).
  • Build Scalable Infrastructure: Develop a scalable Client Solutions toolkit that cuts partner onboarding time and improves operational predictability.
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Deep Health Plan & Healthcare Expertise: Deep experience working to implement solutions with health plans. Demonstrated expertise in health plan operations, including eligibility integration, claims/billing workflows, utilization management, network operations, and compliance.
  • Mastery in Project Management: Proven track record of managing highly complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise implementations from strategy through post-launch stabilization. Mastery of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Strategic Agility & Problem Solving: Strategic mindset—able to navigate ambiguity, structure unstructured problems, evaluate risks, and make sound decisions in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Executive Communication & Influence: Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills. Comfort presenting to key stakeholders at major health plans and leading joint steering committees.
  • Analytical Fluency: Data-driven orientation with proficiency in translating complex data into strategic insights (familiarity with tools like Looker, Excel, SQL, Google Sheets).
  • Mission Alignment: Passion for mental health access and alignment with Two Chairs’ core values.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
