The Marketing Transformation Client Partner serves as the lead for professional services sales related to a client’s MarTech and Marketing data stack (i.e. Marketing Cloud Platforms etc…) and related Analytic services revenue of the Financial Services Industry.  Uses in-depth knowledge of the industry, deep knowledge of Acxiom and partner solutions to drive Acxiom’s growth across the entire assigned industry. 
Strong strategic mindset to be able to identify and recommend specific solutions to achieve customer’s desired result.
Holds direct responsibility for identifying net new opportunities and closing revenue specifically across an assigned set of clients within Financial Services industry.  Works in partnership with Partnership Manager, Solution Consulting and the account specific Client Partner focused on upselling and cross-selling of net new solutions. 

The work:

  • Lead the efforts to create marketing transformation and modernization solutions to solve complex marketing business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
  • Interacts with senior management levels at clients within the industry, determine pursuit strategies, develops client messaging plans and relationships, and applies industry-leading marketing modernization and transformation strategies and practices.
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to drive the highest growth potential of the industry.
  • Operates within Acxiom partner ecosystem and directs specific larger complex sales activities at existing customers.
  • Develop a plan for marketing digital transformation playbooks and ancillary documents supporting vertical growth; execute the plan according to a timeline across the financial services industry portfolio
  • Consistently deliver high quality work on time and against commitments.
  • Provides a consultative approach involves active listening, problem-solving, and the ability to build trust-based relationships with clients, customers, or colleagues.
  • Leads or facilitates contract negotiations for new business and renewals.
  • Escalation points for status, issues, problems, and feedback to client/stakeholders and teams.
  • Work closely with delivery team to support overall business strategy.
  • Work closely with our IPG agency partners to develop and support overall account strategy.
  • Consults with client on use cases and capabilities to enable organic growth.
  • Deep knowledge of MarTech ecosystem including Marketing Cloud Platforms, CDPs, Marketing data clouds, CX platforms, data, and technology.
  • Bring ideas and best practices to the client partner team, adding to standard methodologies and growing the impact of the role over time.

You are:

  • Brings a minimum of 10 years of comprehensive MarTech ecosystem knowledge and deep understanding of financial services industry vertical, with industry expertise possessing specialized insights, and a nuanced understanding of the market dynamics, trends, challenges, regulations, and competitive landscape.
  • A growth focused professional who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. 
  • You will integrate yourself into all phases of the sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying common sense and technical expertise.
  • You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at the existing clients across the industry by utilizing a differentiated innovation solution roadmap and framework leveraging the latest innovations of Acxiom.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree a plus
