THE TEAM

Ticketmaster’s Global Sales Operations group strives to be the partner of choice for our clients. Our mission is partner with markets to empower clients with business solutions that drive and align their commercial growth with Ticketmaster. We do this through a variety of services, including, product marketing, B2B marketing, sales enablement, commercial strategy and services, and more. We advocate for our clients across the product lifecycle, building our B2B narrative across strategic priorities, from strategic planning to launch and adoption. This team serves as the glue between across sales, product, & lines of business all in service of clients.

THE INTERNSHIP

Our Client Marketing Intern will assist various Marketing Managers in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote ticketing products and services. The ideal student will have a passion for marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Candidate will learn about:

  • Ticketmaster Marketing Product and Solutions leveraged daily by clients across all areas of the business.
  • Gain a better understanding of live event marketing including segment specific nuances and goals.
  • Gain real-world experience by playing an active role in prepping for and shadowing client pitch and meeting discussions.
  • Learn how to recognize opportunities and the recommendations we share in plans to help drive results for our client's campaigns and drive adoption for our Marketing products.

THROUGHOUT YOUR TIME WITH US YOU WILL

  • Actively support Marketing Managers in their day to day by reviewing client creatives and copy to ensure they meet guidelines and best practices.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns via dashboards.
  • Provide support for campaign recaps and discussion by data gathering.
  • Help develop marketing materials to support client conversations.
  • Request, develop and deploy special offer emails for North American ticketing partners.
  • Research audience and artist demographic info to help shape marketing plans.
  • Utilize Excel, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Asana, and Box in day-to-day tasks.
  • Support the team with tracking and reporting on a team, attraction, or venue level.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested. 
  • Attend and participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

YOU WILL PROBABLY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU

  • Are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Marketing or a related field that requires participation in a co-op/internship placement as part of the curriculum to graduate.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • An avid interest in learning about the entertainment industry.
  • Proven ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to take direction while also displaying strong personal initiative.
  • A creative thinker and self-starter with a winning attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well remotely and within a team environment.
  • Understand and interpret key media campaign metrics.

Hourly Rate: $18
