The Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Client Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for facilitation of client engagement which includes but is not limited to responding to opportunities for new engagements on behalf of the professionals and management of the company’s Valuation & Advisory service line. Working under the direction of the Client Engagement manager and in partnership with the Market Lead, this team of specialists is responsible for fielding and responding to proposals for potential new engagements on time and with great accuracy. Additional responsibilities include occasional preparation of engagement letters, tracking wins/losses, accepting engagement awards and transmitting related engagement information, maintaining rosters and client lists and various administrative duties.This is a highly visible position requiring constant communication with external clients, internal managers and valuation professionals. The successful candidate will be organized, detailed oriented, and have the ability to multitask and follow through in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written communication skills required. Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Contribute to the client engagement process by receiving requests, fielding requests appropriately and responding accordingly based on client needs, available staffing and timing
- Utilize third party sites to receive, enter and follow-up on new engagement opportunities
- Support Market Lead to maintain database of appraiser information to accurately staff assignments (designations, licenses, specialties, etc.)
- Tracking new engagement opportunities to insure proper reporting (win/loss ratio, fees, appraiser capacity, etc.)
- Coordinate with other V&A Client Engagement Specialists to communicate changes and resolve issues across the process
- Proactively follow-up with appraisers to ensure responses are submitted on-time
- Accepting new assignments and preparing set up requirements for the Financial Operations team
- Update and manage our internal SharePoint platform with all new opportunity details
- 3-5 years of experience supporting a revenue-generating business with exposure to engagement management and general administrative functions
- Intermediate proficiency using MS Office Suites, ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, and proficiency working in a web-based project management software environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to juggle several processes simultaneously without sacrificing work product or accuracy
- Time management and organizational skills
- Sense of urgency and ability to meet critical, recurring deadlines
- Maintenance of confidential information
