This role is a key contributor within our Client Management Delivery Services and Optum Insight Operations teams, helping drive operational excellence, strengthen client partnerships, and ensure high-quality performance across the physician revenue cycle.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Regularly conducts client meetings to review accounts receivable performance, payer issues and trends, client's business strategies and cash flow forecast. Discussions and recommendations are expected to take into consideration Optum Insight's operations, local and national issues and trends as they affect the client and other issues as needed
- Ensures the appropriate preparation, analysis and presentation of all Client Service Delivery deliverables (including A/R measurement statistics and payer trends, fee schedules, ad hoc financial reports) ensuring their relevancy, accuracy and overall quality. This may require interaction with operations management, the Optum Insight National Support Center, and third-party payers
- Managing all aspects of the business relationship with the customer
- Ensures that all appropriate resources are available and utilized effectively/efficiently to maximize overall business management services
- Develops and maintains positive client relations and coordinates with various functions within the company to ensure client requests are handled appropriately (i.e. within time and budget)
- This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a client, either from a financial or services/product standpoint. Position monitors/audits financial, reimbursement and information management services and is responsible for analyzing the billing effectiveness/cash flow and making recommendations to increase productivity and profitability. Utilizes their knowledge of the client/business, healthcare practice management and medical billing process/procedures to maximize performance relative to client relationship, client satisfaction, desired survey results and client/company financial performance indicators

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of healthcare practice management and medical billing experience
- 4+ years of client relationship management and accounts receivable management
- 3+ years of physician Part B billing, collections & coding background
- 3+ years of client facing experience with physicians, physician practice managers and hospital leadership
- 3+ years of experience with physician practice A/R Metrics
- 3+ years of experience presenting to and working with physicians and hospital leadership
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience dealing with multiple levels of leadership and multiple parties toward a common goal
- Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) as well as data processing and analysis skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships. Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Proven project Management skills
Physical Requirement:
- Limited local travel to client sites in the Northeast Region, with some overnight travel for training trips on an occasional basis
