Wells Fargo is seeking a Client Cyber Advisory Lead to drive strong client relationships and contribute significantly to the development of our internal Cyber Defender Program. This role is crucial for understanding client cybersecurity needs, guiding them through solution implementations, and providing valuable insights to enhance our offensive and defensive cyber capabilities.
In this role, you will:
• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of client cybersecurity engagements, from initial needs assessment to successful solution delivery.
• Develop and present tailored cybersecurity strategies and solutions to meet complex client requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their primary cybersecurity advisor.
• Communicate intricate cybersecurity concepts and solution benefits clearly to both technical and non-technical client stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for expanding cybersecurity services and value within existing client portfolios.
• Provide subject matter expertise and strategic input for the ongoing development and enhancement of the internal Cyber Defender Program.
• Collaborate with internal cybersecurity teams to integrate client challenges and industry trends into the Cyber Defender Program's capabilities.
• Assist in evaluating, selecting, and integrating cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies and best practices into both client solutions and the Cyber Defender Program.
• Contribute to defining metrics and reporting on the effectiveness and maturity of the Cyber Defender Program.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers across various departments.
• Interact with both internal teams and external client organizations.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 4 years in a client-facing, consulting, or engagement lead role, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
Proven ability to lead complex cybersecurity projects and manage client relationships effectively.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains, including threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic cybersecurity landscape.
Proficiency in creating comprehensive client proposals, presentations, and reports.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience contributing to or building internal cybersecurity programs (e.g., Security Operations Center, Threat Intelligence, Red/Blue Team).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory compliance.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or other relevant cybersecurity or project management certifications.
• Experience with advanced cybersecurity technologies and tools.
• Familiarity with financial services industry cybersecurity challenges.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
