ABOUT THE TEAM

The Security team is responsible for for providing support to Anduril’s classified programs. Classified capabilities are the heart of Anduril’s ability to execute on our mission across all levels of the government at a pace that sets us apart from competitors. Operating in classified environments poses myriad challenges to developmental pace and production resiliency that require a deep knowledge of the infrastructure and approval process to scale Anduril’s classified infrastructure to meet program needs.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Classified Physical Security Program Manager to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and build - and supporting the accreditation - of new secure facilities across the country. If you have deep knowledge of secure facilities design and construction and demonstrated record of achievements in that arena, enjoy the challenges of building operations from scratch, and want to grow a department tasked with solving complex security problems for Anduril, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Working closely with other stakeholders, you will ensure that all secure area build plans comport with government customer policies, regulations, and guidance that pertain to specific secure areas (e.g., Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities, Special Access Program Facilities, collateral open storage and discussion areas, etc.).
  • Actively participate in meetings with design team (architects, security consultants, general contractors, Information Technology support personnel, etc.) stakeholders to ensure room designs and plans include the required security features relevant to the specific classification level.
  • Apply government policies, regulations, and guidance to specific secure area builds and ensure builders and contracted site security managers adhere to the policies and guidance.
  • Prepare accreditation documentation for new builds.
  • Liaise with government sponsors and accreditors, as required, and participate in supporting government accreditation inspections.
  • You will assist in developing and deploying a strategic vision for classified project management program at Anduril. This will include design, vendor management, and site commissioning for all new and day 2 secure space builds
  • Coordinate with the unclassified project management team within Physical Security for vendor coordination, standard execution and documentation, and commissioning of spaces.
  • Develop, establish, and control the methods, procedures, and systems to increase overall effectiveness of facilities utilization and management.
  • Prepare complex and technical statistical analyses, reports, and surveys related to space.
  • Provide information and consultation on costs of planned projects and budgetary planning related to space planning to security director, department heads, facility director, and senior leaders.
  • Review facilities information data and other reports to ensure that each original project involving space planning is implemented.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess expert-level knowledge of ICD-705 and TEMPEST-related policies and guidance.
  • Thoroughly understand how to apply written policies, regulations, and guidance to physical construction of secure areas.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 portions that are relevant to physical security requirements of open storage areas and collateral discussion/safeguarding areas.
  • A minimum of 5-years of classified physical security experience with a history in strong project management execution and building cross functional relationships
  • Strong collaborative instincts that result in closely working with all stakeholders and keeping them informed of developments throughout the life of a project.
  • Actively participate in and “own” the Security Department’s physical security stake in weekly meetings for specific secure builds from concept all the way through pre-construction, construction, and commissioning.
  • Project management skills. You have experience with high profile/high visibility projects, timelines, and milestone tracking.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of empathy and the ability to successfully advocate for your team.
  • Experience completing Fixed Facility and Tempest Worksheets, and accreditation packages
  • Experience with UL inspections and processes
  • Knowledge of budgetary practices and principles.
  • Knowledge of accreditation and co-utilization process
  • Team player who works in a fast paced environment with effective autonomy.
  • Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities
US Salary Range
$114,000$171,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
