This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, organizational rhythm, internal communications, and transformational change. This individual will shape how we work, how we communicate, and how we grow.

We’re looking for someone who is part strategist, part operator, part storyteller, and someone who loves to bring creativity, energy, and fun to everything they do.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

Drive Operating Rhythm & Organizational Effectiveness
  • Keep the team and Chief Performance Officer on track by anticipating what’s needed for upcoming meetings and partnering closely with the EA to ensure materials, prep sessions, and communications are ready.
  • Lead the cadence of business operations: quarterly Board prep, department QBRs, monthly ELT reviews, and program reviews.
  • Build and refine templates, decks, and communications to ensure clarity, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Field requests from across the team, provide guidance, and connect the dots to keep priorities moving.
  • Design agendas, facilitate offsites and workshops, and keep the organization aligned on goals and outcomes.
  • Track org-level MBOs/metrics and ensure priorities map to company strategy.
Lead Internal & Executive Communications
  • Partner with the Internal Communications team to create and deliver the CPO’s internal comms strategy.
  • Draft content for Slack, newsletters, all-hands, and key speaking engagements (conferences, interviews, podcasts).
  • Ensure clear, timely, and consistent messaging around strategic priorities, often under tight deadlines.
Strategic Program Management of the Internal LM AI Transformation
  • Assist in the company’s internal AI transformation with the VP, Digital Transformation.
  • Focus on comms and change management: Slack strategy, training roadmap, champion community for deeper training, and employee engagement.
  • Build change management strategies and enablement plans that make AI adoption exciting, accessible, and embedded into our operating rhythm (e.g., AOP readiness).
Strategic Initiatives
  • Manage program scope for high-impact projects such as major conferences, upcoming acquisitions, or time-bound priorities requiring cross-functional leadership.
  • Support employee onboarding, communications, and program management for potential M&A integration.
  • Anticipate roadblocks, connect dots, and surface solutions before issues escalate.
What You’ll Need
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in strategy, program management, or a similar role
  • Proven ability to connect high-level vision with detailed execution
  • Exceptional communication skills with a track record of cross-functional partnership
  • Experience writing for Slack updates, all-hands, executive presentations, and external speaking engagements
  • Demonstrated success building change management strategies, especially around AI adoption
  • Strong ability to pivot quickly and manage competing priorities
  • Experience preparing slide decks, ELT reviews, and board materials

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
