As we scale rapidly, we are seeking a Chief of Staff to partner closely with leadership in driving operational excellence, building scalable processes, and ensuring alignment across teams.

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, COO, and the executive team, focusing on building the internal infrastructure needed to support Portless’s growth. This role requires a leader with proven experience in standardizing processes and workflows across organizations, enabling teams to execute more efficiently and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and roll out standardized processes, tools, and workflows across departments to improve efficiency and accountability.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with the CEOand COO to translate strategic priorities into operational plans and ensure follow-through across the organization.
  • Program & Project Management: Drive cross-functional initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and resources are aligned.
  • Performance Tracking: Build dashboards and frameworks to monitor KPIs, OKRs, and other metrics; surface insights for leadership decision-making.
  • Communication & Coordination: Serve as a bridge between leadership and functional teams; facilitate effective communication and alignment.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational adoption of new processes and technologies, ensuring buy-in from stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership Support: Provide leverage to the CEO and COO by preparing materials, driving leadership meetings, and ensuring critical issues are addressed.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, or Chief of Staff–type roles at high-growth companies.
  • Demonstrated success in rolling out standardized processes and workflows at scale.
  • Strong program/project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset; ability to use metrics to guide decision-making.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with rapidly evolving priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
