Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.

The Tactical Recon and Strike (TRS) division at Anduril develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all equipment to test, deploy and operate. The team is responsible for taking products like Ghost, Bolt, Anvil, and Altius from paper sketches to operational systems. We work in close coordination with tactical unit end users, program offices, and other critical DOW stakeholders to solve some of the hardest problems facing our warfighters. The Chief of Staff, TRS is the connective tissue between the SVP of TRS, the broader executive team, and the rest of the company. You’ll act as a strategic thought partner and force multiplier to the SVP, ensuring the division is aligned and prioritized to deliver against our most critical goals. This role is responsible for proactively designing, building, and executing the operational rhythm, strategic programs, and cross-functional communications that enable the TRS division to operate at a high level and drive organizational performance.

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a highly capable and strategic Chief of Staff to partner directly with our SVP of the Tactical Recon and Strike Division. This role is at the nexus of strategy and execution, providing critical support across a broad spectrum of responsibilities, from strategic planning and cross-functional integration to executive operations and high-impact project leadership. You will be entrusted with enhancing the operational cadence of the TRS team, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders across Anduril, and representing the SVP in crucial internal forums. Your ability to synthesize complex information, drive consensus, and manage diverse initiatives will be key to enabling the TRS division to achieve its ambitious goals. Join us to play a central role in shaping the future of TRS and contributing to Anduril's groundbreaking work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Strategic Advisor: Serve as a trusted advisor to the TRS SVP, helping to drive clarity and focus across a broad portfolio of initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Design and manage how the TRS team interfaces with key stakeholders across the company (Finance, Government Relations, Strategic Growth, etc.), ensuring effective collaboration, information flow, and alignment
  • Executive Operations: Prepare and facilitate TRS-related content for executive meetings, All Hands, and offsites—driving agenda setting, action tracking, and execution against key decisions
  • Governance Structure: Own and drive business rhythm for the TRS team, including quarterly QBRs, strategic planning, internal business reviews, and team communications
  • Stakeholder Management: Represent the TRS SVP in internal forums, ensuring that communication is aligned, timely, and driving the desired outcomes with the broader division and Anduril leadership
  • Project & Initiative Leadership: Lead high-impact, cross-functional strategic initiatives from ideation through to execution and measurement

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
