The Opportunity
The Chief of Staff Intern is responsible for supporting internal communications and contributing to the overall success of our marketing initiatives across various regions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, working on impactful projects such as the monthly newsletter and various internal communications. The intern will play a role in ensuring effective communication within the department, making this role essential for maintaining the flow of information and supporting the strategic goals of MetLife.
Success in this role requires strong written and verbal communication skills and a proactive attitude. The Chief of Staff Intern is responsible for assisting in the creation and dissemination of internal communications and supporting various marketing initiatives. You'll collaborate closely with marketing, IT, and customer service departments in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)

  • Lead: Assist in leading internal communication projects and initiatives.
  • Create: Develop content for the monthly newsletter and other internal communications.
  • Oversee: Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of communication materials.
  • Manage: Support the management of communication channels within the department.
  • Develop: Contribute to the development of strategies for effective internal communication.
  • Coordinate: Work with various stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging.


What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Suggested 1-2 years of experience in marketing or communications.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and email marketing platforms.
