Position Summary

As the Chief of Staff to the CEO at 33 USA Inc., you will play a critical role in supporting the CEO and ensuring the efficient operation of the organization. This bilingual position requires fluency in both Japanese and English, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects and communications across diverse teams. The Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, facilitate strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment of goals across the organization to drive success.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

Strategic Support:

- Assist the CEO in the strategic planning and execution of organizational objectives

- Coordinate and prioritize key initiatives to support the CEO’s vision and goals

- Conduct research and provide insights to inform decision-making processes

Communication Facilitation:

- Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders

- Manage external communications, ensuring messages align with company strategies

- Draft and edit high-level documents, presentations, and reports in both Japanese and English

Project Management:

- Lead and manage special projects on behalf of the CEO, from initiation through completion

- Collaborate with teams across the company to drive project deliverables

- Monitor project progress and report updates to the CEO

Meeting Coordination:

- Prepare for and arrange meetings, including agendas, materials, and follow-up action items

- Take meeting notes, summarize key points, and track progress on commitments

Team Leadership:

- Mentor and support executive team members in achieving their goals

- Foster a culture of collaboration and high performance within the organization

Education and Experience Requirements:

Required:

- Bilingual English/Japanese language skills at a business level or above

- Proven experience in a similar leadership role, including working closely with C-level executives

- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities

- Experience managing complex projects and strategic initiatives

Preferred:

- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field (MBA preferred)

- Understanding of the entertainment industry, particularly anime and film markets

- High level of discretion and confidentiality

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

- Strong leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving
