Who We’re Seeking
We are seeking someone to lead our revenue growth team.  A key focus will be to support the pivot into high-growth M&E sub-segments, including Gaming, OTT/Streaming services, Sports Betting, Parks & Resorts, and Creator Economy platforms. This leader will be responsible for overseeing marketing, partner alliances, and sales into new logos.  They will be responsible for setting the sales and marketing strategy and executing against it.  This is a hands on role with individual sales a part of the responsibility.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic GTM Alignment: Align Marketing and Sales efforts to best position Qvest US as domain experts within new sub-segments
  • Sub-Segment Expansion: Architect and execute the strategy for non-studio verticals (e.g., Gaming, Sports, Music Tech), identifying unique pain points where our technical IP provides a competitive edge
  • Consultative Technical Selling: Oversee the pursuit of complex, high-value digital transformation engagements, ensuring our team speaks the language of industry C-Suite
  • Direct Deal Ownership: Personally leads the pursuit and closing of "Tier 1" accounts in new sub-segments
  • Pipeline Generation: Shift the culture from farming (referral-based) to proactive (hunting). You will build a "cold-to-close" engine that targets new logos
  • Partner Alliances: Strengthen partnerships with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud’s M&E divisions to drive co-sell opportunities in emerging tech sectors
  • Revenue Operations: Develop and implement sales metrics and performance targets, regularly monitoring sales activity, pipelines, and conversion rates to drive continuous improvement
  • Unify Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations into a single, aligned revenue engine with shared goals, processes, and metrics

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of leadership experience, specifically within B2B/ Professional Services/ Systems Integrator firm
  • Deep familiarity with the Media & Entertainment lifecycle (production to distribution)
  • Proven success in taking a service offering from a core market into adjacent verticals. You should have a "playbook" for entering new sub-segments
  • An active book of decision-makers within Gaming, Streaming, or Professional Sports organizations
  • Proven ability to work with strategic partners to successfully grow revenue through alliances and channels
  • Track record of success in dealing with RFPs and tenders as well as in closing deals with key media and digital players and Fortune 500 corporations
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (e.g., business administration, engineering, industrial engineering, or similar)
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
