THE ROLE

As the Chief Architect, you will be a strategic technical leader, tackling complex security, cloud, and enterprise architecture challenges at a global scale. This is a senior role requiring deep technical expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to shape the technology strategy and enterprise architecture roadmap for Live Nation Entertainment.

You will serve as the technical design authority supporting enterprise applications, strategic transformation programs, cybersecurity, and various security, engineering & operations teams.

You will establish a solution architecture process, ensuring security and compliance are embedded in cloud, software, and infrastructure decisions.

Collaborating with CISO, CTO, and engineering teams, you will shape the secure development and deployment of enterprise applications while ensuring compliance with SOX, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and global privacy regulations.

The Chief Architect will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO:

Enterprise Architecture

  • Guide the development of enterprise architecture & IT capability improvement roadmap, prioritizing resiliency, compliance, and technology costs.

  • Work with key executives, stakeholders, to develop multi-year multi-domain technology roadmaps aligned to business needs and corporate strategy

  • Drive technology lifecycle management, including standardization and cost optimization

  • Guide AI strategy implementation for end-users and developers of LLM-based applications

Solutions Architecture

  • Design, implement and lead the solution architecture process across impacted domains, enabling reliability, security and fit-for-purpose for key business initiatives

  • Establish and manage the evolution of global architecture standards, patterns and platforms across regions & business units

  • Serve as a trusted technology partner in guiding business, applications, engineering and operations teams through complex enterprise systems integration or technology implementation projects

Cybersecurity & IT Initiatives

  • Partner with Cybersecurity and IT teams to guide the technical design and implementation of key information security initiatives

  • Partner with Internal Audit & Compliance teams in defining technical approaches that simplify PCI, SOX, & SOC2 compliance

  • Guide and mentor teams in strengthening core IT service delivery and support capabilities including incident & problem management, asset management and release management.

  • Guide the continuous improvement of foundational solution engineering capabilities including: software development lifecycle, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, identity & access management, and other security and reliability focused capabilities

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in leading large, complex product engineering functions, including E-Commerce

  • Minimum 5 years in serving as a Chief / Principal Architect in a large, global organization

  • Demonstrated experience in managing technology diversity, standardization and simplification

  • Demonstrated experience in guiding technical application & infrastructure engineering teams

  • Familiarity in designing LLM-based applications

  • Experience guiding compliance with SOX and PCI-DSS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex architecture topics to technical & non-technical audiences at various levels

The expected compensation for this position is:

$298,000.00 USD - $373,000.00 USD
