The Channel Sales Director, Central is Omilia's field presence across the Central territory (Chicago, Ohio Valley, Great Plains). This is a tip-of-spear pipeline creation role: the CSD operates inside the partner ecosystem, activating advisors and reseller reps, co-selling on active opportunities, and introducing qualified deals to Omilia AEs. Success is measured by activated relationships and qualified pipeline, not program management — this is a field execution role, distinct from the program-owning Channel Director roles.

Accountabilities
  • Own activated, field-level relationships with individual advisors, reseller reps, and BPO technology contacts across the Central territory.
  • Own qualified pipeline creation from partner-submitted opportunities within the territory, not program or agreement management.
  • Maintain a 24-hour response protocol on all partner-submitted opportunities from Day 1.
  • Own Omilia's field presence and awareness within the Central partner ecosystem across all segment types.
  • Prioritize engagement with the territory's key TSD anchors — including AppDirect Chicago HQ and AVANT Chicago HQ — to maximize advisor activation.
  • Provide field intelligence to Channel Directors on partner activity, competitive dynamics, and advisor/reseller sentiment in territory.
  • Own territory pipeline accuracy, ensuring partner and advisor attribution in CRM reflects actual deal sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate inside the partner ecosystem across all segment types within the Central territory.
  • Build and maintain active relationships with individual advisors, reseller reps, and BPO technology contacts within the territory.
  • Attend regional TSD events, reseller summits, and partner meetups as Omilia's field representative.
  • Co-sell on active partner-submitted opportunities: qualify, provide Omilia domain expertise, and introduce the Omilia AE.
  • Maintain 24-hour response protocol on all partner-submitted opportunities from Day 1.
  • Drive Omilia awareness with CCaaS platform field teams (Five9, Genesys, NICE CXone, Talkdesk) operating in the Central territory.
  • Build and manage a territory pipeline from partner-sourced deals and track in CRM with accurate partner and advisor attribution.
  • Provide field intelligence to Channel Directors on partner activity, competitive dynamics, and advisor/reseller sentiment in territory.
  • Prioritize time and coverage across advisors, reseller reps, and BPO contacts to maximize qualified pipeline generation in territory.

RequirementsRequired:
  • 3–7 years in a field channel, overlay, or partner sales role within the Central market.
  • Existing relationships with technology advisors, reseller reps, or BPO technology contacts in the Central territory — non-negotiable for external hires.
  • Track record of quota attainment in a field channel or overlay role.
  • Understanding of CCaaS platform ecosystems and how AI/automation solutions overlay on contact center platforms.
  • Chicago-area presence or strong Central market knowledge preferred; note AppDirect Chicago HQ and AVANT Chicago HQ as relevant TSD anchors in the territory.
Nice to have:
  • Prior experience as a TSD advisor, sub-agent, or CCaaS supplier-facing overlay in the Central territory.
  • Existing relationships with AVANT or AppDirect/TBI Central agencies; AVANT Chicago HQ presence a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI or contact center automation solutions.
Omilia Note
  • Contribute actively and effectively as an integrated team member.
  • Act as an Omilia ambassador in all interactions.

Benefits
  • Fixed compensation;
  • Long-term employment with the working days vacation;
  • Development in professional growth (courses, training, etc);
  • Being part of successful cutting-edge technology products that are making a global impact in the service industry;
  • Proficient and fun-to-work-with colleagues;
  • Apple gear

We believe that embracing diversity in all its forms enriches our workplace and drives our collective success. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives without regard to factors such as race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, heredity, disability, age, or veteran status, all eligible candidates will be given consideration for employment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
