Imagine this: a sunny office in downtown Santa Monica, using an innovative sales engagement platform to automate outreach, helping sales people excel. It's well-paid, and the vibe is a bit meta when you think about it!

This is a ground-up opportunity for smart, competitive people ready to dive into the channel side of a sales team that's doubling the company's revenue annually—boosting your own earnings too. In this role, you’ll own key channel efforts, work with resellers and partners, manage marketplace listings, and lead co-marketing activities. You’ll handle promotions, webinars, product updates, partner events, loyalty programs, and more. We need someone detail-oriented, flexible, data-driven, and a strong communicator.

As a Channel Sales Account Executive, you will be at the forefront of building and nurturing relationships with referral partners, helping us expand our reach across diverse industries. Unlike traditional AE roles, this position is relationship-focused, blending elements of account management and business development. You'll drive new business by identifying, onboarding, and enabling partners, while also leveraging inbound interest in becoming a partner.

What Makes This Role Unique

  • Build Long-Term Revenue Streams: You earn uncapped commission in perpetuity for every deal referred by your partners. Not only do our partners receive a revenue share, but you also enjoy ongoing commissions.
  • Be a Key Player in a High-Growth Team: This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape our channel strategy as part of a small but growing team. Your contributions will have a huge impact on our success as we expand.
  • Diverse Industry Exposure: You’ll engage with partners across various industries, including Professional Training & Coaching, Real Estate, Insurance, Finance, Marketing & Advertising, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Partner Relationships: Own and nurture relationships with channel partners, including resellers and integration partners, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Expand Partner Network: Proactively identify and recruit new partners through strategic outreach, building a strong pipeline of potential referral opportunities.
  • Drive Growth Through Marketplace Listings: Develop and optimize partner marketplace listings to increase visibility and generate new business.
  • Lead Co-Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with partners on joint marketing activities, including sales promotions, conferences, webinars, product updates, and email campaigns to drive mutual success.
  • Enhance Partner Engagement: Design and oversee enablement programs, loyalty incentives, and events that empower partners and deepen their engagement.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and ensure smooth execution of partner programs.

Requirements

  • Background in sales, marketing, or account management; experience in channel or partner management is a plus but not required.
  • Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Positive attitude that brings enthusiasm and optimism to every task.
  • The ability to create and foster strong and lasting partnerships, with a genuine passion for helping others succeed.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, constantly pushing yourself to exceed targets and deliver outstanding results.
  • Strong analytical and detail-orientation skills
  • Excitement about technology and working with innovative tools and solutions that drive business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive base salary and uncapped commission
  • Rapid opportunities for advancement at a pre-IPO software company whose valuation is climbing exponentially every year
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO), sick leaves, and paid holidays
  • Team lunches and happy hours
  • Daily stocked snacks and beverages
  • A pet-friendly office so your furry friends can be part of your workday
  • Complimentary parking in our secure garage
  • A collaborative, dynamic, and supportive team environment

Pay Transparency

  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $150,000+ (50% base salary + uncapped commission)

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
