Gridmatic Retail is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Channel Partner  -Sales Manager to expand our retail energy footprint through third-party brokers, consultants, and strategic partners. This role is responsible for recruiting, enabling, and managing channel partners, driving indirect sales growth, and coordinating internally to deliver competitive, analytics-driven offers to commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with the retail energy brokerage ecosystem, a large portfolio of broker relationships, strong communication skills, and a track record of building high-performing partner networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with retail energy brokers and channel partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partner sales needs, pricing requests, and opportunity management.
  • Drive indirect sales growth 
  • Ensure accurate and timely communication of pricing, contracting requirements, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with pricing, and operations teams to deliver seamless partner experiences.
  • Maintain reporting of partner activity, pipeline development, and performance metrics.
  • Support development of partner programs, incentive structures, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent Gridmatic Retail at industry events, conferences, and in partner-facing meetings.
  • Gather feedback from the broker community to influence product enhancements and competitive positioning.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail electricity sales, with at least 2 years focused on managing broker or channel partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of retail electricity products, pricing structures, and competitive landscape.
  • Established relationships within the broker community preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple partner relationships and navigate complex deal cycles.
  • Data-driven mindset with familiarity in working with analytics teams.
  • High degree of ownership, accountability, and strategic thinking.
