Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.
The Ecosystem Partner Manager plays a key role in advancing Atlassian's Cloud-first vision by managing a large portfolio of partners across the APAC region and supporting our broader Partner Management team. APAC represents one of the most exciting growth markets for our Cloud platform, and this role carries a meaningful responsibility - to guide partners toward full commitment to Atlassian's Cloud strategy while helping them deliver solutions across the entire Atlassian portfolio.
As Atlassian continues to grow, we're expanding our channel ecosystem with system integrators (SIs) and traditional Atlassian partners, through scalable, technology-enabled programs. We're looking for an exceptional individual who understands the channel business and can effectively align and inspire partners across the region to accelerate Cloud adoption.
Success in this role requires a deep understanding of partner ecosystems, strong analytical and relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence and enable partners through technology - ensuring alignment with Atlassian's Cloud transformation goals.

You have hands-on experience working directly with partners - understanding their business models, culture, and needs - and you know how to motivate and empower them to succeed. This role spans multiple regions, including India, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand, so experience working across diverse markets is essential. Fluency in English and Japanese is required.

  • The ability to work with the Atlassian Partner Managers to assist and support them with complex internal and external challenges.
  • Be the first person who identifies local blockers against Cloud adoption and have the ability to communicate them with appropriate internal Atlassian teams.
  • Ensure partner engagement on Atlassian product including assisting them on education and growing their potential with our suite of products.
  • Understand your partner's business and their products, building rapport and value in the working relationship.
  • Work with the partners on sustaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
