THE OPPORTUNITY

The Channel Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with key channel partners to drive sales and expand market reach. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a proven track record in channel sales within the tech or data security industry. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying new partnership opportunities, fostering collaborative relationships, and achieving sales targets through channel partnerships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and implement a comprehensive Commercial channel sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Be able to train commercial reps on selling with the channel and develop their acumen around GTM with our Commercial Channel.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with channel partners with a focus on developing partners who traditionally sell to the commercial market segment.
  • Provide partners with the necessary training, resources, and support to effectively sell our solutions. This includes conducting regular training sessions, webinars, and providing up-to-date marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint business plans, including setting goals, defining strategies, and establishing KPIs to track progress and performance.
  • Drive sales through the East Region and align to our Channel Directors in region to build a commercial strategy within each of their territories.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Support, to ensure alignment and support for channel initiatives.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, terms, and conditions to ensure mutually beneficial arrangements.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in channel sales or partner management within the tech industry, preferably in data security or cybersecurity.
  • Strong understanding of channel sales strategies and partner ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.

COMPENSATION INFORMATION:

Compensation Range: $175,000-$225,000.

The range represents total compensation, and may include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.

This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations.

Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements.

This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors.
