CG Modeler is responsible for building CG assets for look development and may be used in production. They will be the first assets designed for shows and drive the overall look and style aesthetic. The CG Modeling artist will report to the Executive Producer and follow the designs from Production Designer. This is a union covered position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow Orthographic Design Packs and Artistic Direction to model Characters, Vehicles, and Environments (Organic and Hard Surface)
- Provide UV unwrapping, Surfacing and Texturing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience Modelling, UV’ing, and Surfacing in Maya
- Ideally 3 plus years of experience in CG television animation or equivalent experience (ie - VFX, Video Games, VR)
- Experience Texturing in Substance Painter
- Experience Sculpting in ZBrush
- Knowledge of Marvelous Designer (willingness to learn is a bonus as well)
- Knowledge of Groom/Hair (willingness to learn is a bonus as well)
The anticipated base salary for this position is $45.00/hour to $75.00/hour. This role qualifies for benefits pursuant to the collective bargaining agreement. The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors
