We’re a global IT distribution leader at the forefront of enabling breakthrough technology solutions. As our Development Executive for the Professional Audio Visual (Pro AV) category, you’ll be the driving force behind growing vendor partnerships, expanding market share, and delivering value-driven AV solutions across our channel ecosystem. What You’ll Do

  • Lead Pro AV Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow our Pro AV portfolio. Identify trends, customer needs, and technology gaps to shape long-term category success.

  • Accelerate Business Development: Identify and pursue new revenue opportunities with current and prospective partners. Use data-driven insights to unlock cross-sell and upsell potential within existing accounts.

  • Strengthen Vendor & Partner Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with Pro AV vendors and solution providers. Negotiate competitive programs and align on shared business goals.

  • Analyze Market Trends: Leverage market intelligence and analytics to stay ahead of industry shifts and competitor activity. Translate insights into actionable growth plans.

  • Champion Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure unified execution of Pro AV strategy and successful go-to-market campaigns.

  • Drive Partner Success: Engage directly with reseller partners to understand their challenges and align our solutions to meet their business needs. Deliver tailored experiences that drive loyalty and satisfaction.

  • Expand Product Offerings: Partner with product management to identify and introduce new AV solutions based on partner feedback and market opportunities.

  • Maximize Platform Adoption: Lead with digital-first thinking using tools like Ingram Micro’s Xvantage platform. Help partners and vendors streamline operations, access insights, and scale faster.

  • Solution-Oriented Sales: Sell holistic, end-to-end Pro AV solutions by aligning multiple vendors to deliver full system value — not just standalone products.

What You’ll Bring

  • 6+ years of experience in sales, business development, or vendor/category management (ideally in Pro AV, IT, or distribution)

  • Proven success in achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong understanding of AV technologies, channel ecosystems, and the solution-selling process

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • High level of business and financial acumen, with the ability to forecast, manage pipelines, and assess profit drivers

  • Adept at using data and analytics to inform decisions and drive strategy

  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience with digital sales platforms and tools; familiarity with Ingram Micro systems is a plus

  • Willingness to travel for key vendor and customer engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Knowledge of key Pro AV vendors, hardware/software platforms, and solution stacks

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Join a collaborative, performance-driven culture with global reach

  • Work alongside leading AV and IT vendors in a rapidly growing category

  • Access ongoing learning and professional development opportunities

  • Enjoy flexible work options, competitive compensation, and incentive programs

  • Be part of a team shaping the future of digital experiences across industries

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
