🎬 CASTING ASSOCIATE WANTED

📇 Role: Associate, Casting & Creator Partnerships

📍 Location: LA, Onsite

💵 Salary: $65–75K/year + comprehensive benefits

🚀 About TubeScience

TubeScience is the fastest-growing maker of performance-driven video content. We partner with some of the world’s most innovative brands to create, test, and scale video that drives measurable growth. Our casting team finds the talent that makes creative perform.

💡 The Role

We’re looking for a Casting Associate who is plugged into the digital talent landscape — and equally skilled at finding the real people who make performance creative authentic. You know your way around creator networks and you know how to find, vet, and connect with everyday people whose stories and presence resonate on screen.

You execute without hand-holding, move fast, and take a brief from intake to booked talent efficiently — whether that’s a micro-influencer, a seasoned actor, or a real customer with a compelling story.

➡️ What You’ll Do

  • Source talent from briefs — translate production needs into targeted casting searches across creators, actors, and real people.

  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, creators, digital talent, and real-person networks.

  • Coordinate casting sessions — scheduling, auditions, self-tapes, callbacks, and confirmations.

  • Support talent deal negotiations within budget parameters.

  • Own casting logistics — contracts, releases, availability tracking, and clearances.

  • Use AI and modern tools to move faster and manage volume efficiently.

  • Hit aggressive turnarounds — brief to booked, fast.

🧬 Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of casting experience spanning digital-first content, branded creative, or performance advertising — with experience casting both talent and real people.

  • Active network across creators, influencers, actors, and real-person sourcing channels — relationships and pipelines you can activate quickly.

  • Strong instinct for authenticity — you can spot who will connect with an audience, whether they have 2M followers or zero.

  • Clear communicator — with talent, with real people who’ve never been on camera, with production teams, and under pressure.

  • Tech-savvy and process-oriented — you build systems, not workarounds.

  • High-output executor who thrives on tight timelines and doesn’t need to be managed.

Why TubeScience

  • Work on high-performing content for innovative brands.

  • Cast across diverse creative styles — no two projects are the same.

  • Competitive pay, great benefits, and room to grow.

Benefits

🩺 Health, Vision & Dental · 🧳 Unlimited PTO · 💰 401(k) + Matching · 🩷 Life Insurance · 🤒 Paid Sick Days · 👶 Parental Leave (up to 12 weeks) · ✨ And more

⚡ If you find the right people fast and take pride in the work — we’d love to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
