Job Description:

The Role: 

 

The Capital Sales Manager will focus on the sale of capital equipment by selling into aesthetic practices, med-spas, and resort spas. This role is critical in opening new business opportunities and will require a “hunter” sales strategy. The Capital Sales Manager works closely with all members of the team as well as our finance partners to ensure the clients experience is impeccable. The Capital Sales Manager will uncover opportunity, deliver the Hydrafacial story, demonstrate the service, negotiate the sale, and execute a Purchase Agreement. This role works closely with the business development team in the assigned area to hand off the new client as well as supporting existing business to uncover trade up, 2nd system, and additional location opportunities.  
 

What you’ll do: 

Primary Responsibilities:  

  • Introducing physician practices and medical spas to the Hydrafacial by engaging everyone in the business — from physicians, aestheticians, spa managers, and/or office managers. 

  • Demonstrate the Hydrafacial technology and treatment protocol through hands-on treatments in office. 

  • Identifying potential customer needs — provide potential outcomes or return of investments (ROI) and help your clients understand how to position the Hydrafacial treatment inside their practices and businesses. 

  • Generating leads by working your territory through cold-calling strategies; including walk-in business visits, phone calls, client networking, and social media avenues.  

  • Responding to inbound, tradeshow, corporate leads in a quick and professional manner allowing no more than 24 hours to lapse. 

  • Working with the corporate account teams to identify opportunities that need additional support. 

  • Maintaining a robust pipeline to ensure you consistently achieve monthly targets and sales goals. Understanding what is required to be developing in your pipeline to achieve your quota monthly, quarterly, and yearly. 

  • Ability to forecast weekly to your leadership within a reasonable high/low range  

  • Develop strategic selling techniques, using marketing tools and resources, to enhance your client engagement and the overall Hydrafacial capital experience.  

  • After the sale, you will be responsible to transition the client smoothly to the Regional Training Specialist and Business Development Manager. Working closely with both roles to navigate the unique needs of each individual account.  

  • Attend and work at local tradeshow or events within an area/region. 

  • Other duties as assigned.  
     

What you need to know: 

Required: 

  • High school diploma or GED required 

  • 3+ years in medical device sales and/or account management 

  • Ability to provide specific examples of Capital sales/Device success.  

  • Experience selling into the aesthetics (cash-pay) market -dermatology/plastic surgery or selling into high-end resort spas – having relationships in your territory is key to your success in this rewarding role!  

  • Ability to overcome objections and potential competitive conversations.  

  • Experience being assigned and ability to show over achievement of sales quotas and/or MBOs.  

  • Ability to strategically upsell, forecast and leverage resources to achieve goals.  

  • Understand sales cycles and financing strategies through third party lenders and how to navigate conversations with the lender and customer professionally.  

  • Experience prospecting to new businesses to build and maintain a healthy pipeline using strategic selling techniques and initiatives.   

  • 90% travelling via daily auto and/or plane is required. 

  • Experience executing specific examples of closing sales based on return on investment and success helping medical practices or spas build a business around your products. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills. 
     

Desired: 

  • College degree or equivalent preferred.  

  • Experience using Salesforce.  

(Base Pay: $85,000)

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BeautyHealth’s total rewards package for our employees.
