The Capital Markets Manager will be responsible for day-to-day execution of the company's financing initiatives, managing credit facility processes, and supporting bond offerings. This role will assist in leading financing projects both domestically and internationally, with immediate priorities including an asset-backed security (ABS) offering in North America. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience raising capital and negotiating finance agreements and can represent the company in meetings with investors and lenders.
Key Accountabilities
- Financing & Deal Execution
- Lead day-to-day meetings, negotiations, and financial modeling for financing projects
- Execute financing initiatives independently, including securing debt and equity funding from lenders and capital calls to existing owners
- Run financing processes from kick-off through completion, particularly for new international projects
- Support an asset-based securitization and investor roadshows, and investor follow-up questions
- Perform in-depth analysis of potential acquisitions and investment opportunities
- Review and negotiate financing agreements, investment contracts, and monitor ongoing compliance on all financings
- Stakeholder & Executive Collaboration
- Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for investors and lenders
- Support due diligence meetings with potential financing partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, operations, real estate, and development
- Travel as needed for due diligence and financing meetings
- Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Create and validate proforma financial statements for alternative financings, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting obligations
- Co-author investment memorandums and documentation for decision-making processes
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CFA preferred)
- 5-10 years of experience in corporate finance or investment banking—preferably within data center, real estate, or infrastructure industries
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
- Hands-on experience securing financing from banks/non-bank lenders and institutional investors
- Direct experience negotiating credit agreements and executing financings
- Experience with market research and investor relations
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced knowledge of financial software, accounting systems, and Excel-based modeling
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for financing initiatives
