Role Expectations:
- Implement new business strategy, strategic initiatives, or platforms, including aligning department and support groups (Finance, Tech, Ops, Legal, Compliance), with a focus on establishing governance frameworks and building out long-term strategic plans.
- Build business cases and slide decks in support of Product strategy and Product Management needs - notably in support of Product initiatives, investments, and system developments
- Support the business unit to coordinate, track and report on product delivery investments/budgets.
- Optimize 'bottom line' business performance by driving key initiatives (fees, cost base) and ensuring alignment with the long-term strategic vision.
- Ensure ongoing reporting of country and business financials, expenses and resource requirements
- Analyze and report on revenue drivers and trends for Treasury Services & Payments Products
- Support on budget round process for a 3-year outlook, appropriately challenging assumptions and proactively identifying opportunities and risks throughout the financial cycle
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate business risks that could impair our ability to do business, such as legal, tax, regulatory, capacity issues, and extraordinary transaction costs, with a focus on governance and strategic risk management.
- Represent the Business in internal working groups, contributing to governance discussions and strategic planning efforts.
- Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests, ensuring alignment with governance standards and long-term strategic goals.

- Excellent proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint (PitchPro)
- Attention to detail with logical thought process
- Able to both define and deliver to conclusion a strategic agenda across multiple groups
- Knowledge of the Canada Payments industry and products preferred
