The Campaign Manager will manage and optimize paid search campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, collaborate with clients, and improve ad performance through strategic recommendations and optimizations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage, optimize, and scale Google Ads & Microsoft Ads campaigns across multiple ad types, including search, display, demand generation, PMax, standard shopping, and YouTube. Develop and implement advanced strategies to meet goals like ROAS, CPA, or CAC. Regularly run optimizations and set up experiments to ensure account growth and improved client performance.
- Manage up to 10-12 accounts or a total MRR of $50,000. Demonstrate advanced optimizations that lead to significant client performance improvements and budget increases.
- Ability to lead client calls and provide in-depth explanations of account performance, trends, and strategic recommendations. Maintain ongoing positive client relationships, establishing trust and successfully upselling clients into additional services and channels.
- Collaborate with creative teams to deliver strategies and ad copy that align with client goals, advising clients on the best use of creative assets (text, static, video).
- Stay updated on industry trends, bringing new knowledge to the department and contributing to team growth. Provide insights on other marketing channels, including SEO, paid social, and email marketing, and assist in upselling clients on these services.
- Use internal project management tools like Monday to organize workflows, track campaign performance, and meet client deadlines. Contribute to internal communications by answering team questions and supporting departmental improvements.
- Optimize product feeds for e-commerce clients utilizing DataFeedWatch or Merchant Center. Familiarization with other feed management tools may be trained and needed on a case-by-case basis.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Advanced proficiency in Google Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing platforms.
- Ability to manage mid to high-value accounts with varying levels of ad spend and deliver measurable performance improvements.
- Understanding of digital marketing strategies and optimization techniques across various ad types.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with a proven ability to lead client calls and provide strategic insights.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
