For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Campaign Execution Specialist to serve as a junior campaign partner across the Global Marketing department and wider organization and support the development, execution, and evaluation of integrated marketing campaigns that advance IJM’s mission globally.
The Campaigns Specialist will assist in discovery sessions, contribute to campaign strategy and creative development, and help ensure campaigns are delivered with excellence across channels. The ideal candidate brings early experience in marketing or campaigns (agency or in-house), strong collaboration skills, and an optimistic, proactive mindset.
This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to Global Director, Campaigns & Creative and is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Provide hands-on support for the planning, coordination, and delivery of global marketing campaigns, ensuring timelines, briefs, and outputs are aligned and met;
Assist in coordinating campaign components across channels including digital, content, creative, paid media, and events, working closely with Creative, Digital, and other Marketing teams;
Support the development of campaign concepts, key messages, and creative briefs, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives, audience insights, and brand standards;
Support campaign measurement by gathering performance data, insights, and learnings;
Help adapt campaign elements to improve effectiveness based on results and audience response;
Help activate the IJM brand consistently across campaign touchpoints, ensuring clarity, cohesion, and emotional resonance;
Support campaign rollouts, launches, and moments of amplification, ensuring assets and messaging remain on-brand and purpose-driven;
Support campaign discovery sessions and briefing processes by helping gather insights, objectives, and background information;
Assist Campaign Leads in translating strategy into actionable campaign plans and creative briefs;
Support the execution of campaign deliverables by coordinating timelines, workflows, and required inputs;
Implement feedback from stakeholders and ensure updates are reflected accurately across campaign materials and plans;
Collaborate with creatives, marketers, fundraisers, and external partners to support smooth campaign delivery;
Support the development of insight-led, audience-focused campaign content in partnership with Global Marketing Capabilities;
Work cross-functionally to support campaign initiatives across digital, content, creative, experiential, and regional marketing teams;
Support clear communication of campaign goals, timelines, and deliverables across collaborators and stakeholders;
Use appropriate internal channels (Teamwork, MS Teams, email, meetings) to track progress and follow up on actions;
Proactively flag risks, changes, or capacity issues to the Creative Operations Manager and Campaign Leads;
Support campaign-linked events or moments (launches, activations, regional initiatives) in collaboration with Campaign and Creative Leads;
Help coordinate campaign materials, messaging, and assets required for events or activations;
Participation in IJM’s community of spiritual formation.
1–3 years of experience in marketing, campaigns, communications, or creative environments (agency or in-house);
BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Creative Industries, or a related field (or equivalent experience);
Familiarity with integrated marketing campaigns and creative processes;
Understanding of marketing and campaign workflows;
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail;
Comfort working with briefs, timelines, and project tools;
Familiarity with digital and social campaign channels;
Basic creative or design literacy preferred; and
Mature orthodox Christian faith as defined by the Apostles’ Creed.
