Position Summary
The Call Center Representative is responsible for handling inbound and/or outbound customer calls, providing accurate information, resolving customer concerns, processing requests, and delivering a positive customer experience. The representative will communicate professionally with customers while meeting established service, quality, productivity, and performance standards.
The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming customer calls promptly and professionally.
Make outbound calls to customers, clients, or prospective customers when required.
Listen carefully to customer questions, concerns, and requests.
Provide accurate information about products, services, accounts, orders, policies, and procedures.
Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
Verify customer information and update account records as necessary.
Process orders, payments, appointments, cancellations, returns, refunds, or service requests.
Document customer interactions, concerns, and resolutions accurately in the CRM or call center system.
Follow established call scripts, procedures, and quality standards when applicable.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to supervisors or appropriate departments.
Follow up with customers when additional information or action is required.
Maintain a high level of professionalism when handling difficult or upset customers.
Meet established call volume, response-time, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Protect customer information and follow company privacy and security procedures.
Maintain current knowledge of company products, services, promotions, and policies.
Work collaboratively with sales, billing, technical support, operations, and other departments.
Participate in training, coaching, and quality-assurance programs.
Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service or call center experience preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening and problem-solving abilities.
Professional and courteous telephone manner.
Ability to remain calm and patient when handling difficult customers.
Basic computer and data-entry skills.
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to meet performance and productivity expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
1–3 years of call center or customer service experience.
Experience working in a high-volume contact center.
Experience with CRM, ticketing, or call center software.
Experience handling billing, orders, appointments, technical support, or account inquiries.
Bilingual or multilingual communication skills.
Previous experience working with customer service KPIs.

Working Conditions
