What You'll Be Doing
- You will administer sourcing and procurement of direct (under US Government Prime Contract) goods and services for The Aerospace Corporation
- You will have previous experience and a good working knowledge of subcontracting under FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) guidelines utilizing diverse contract types such as T&M, Cost Type, FFP etc.
- You will evaluate and improve sourcing activities, analyzing current suppliers and cost
- You will complete formal market analysis to investigate market behaviors, trends and influences on the category requirement
- Identify the best contract approach, pricing model, and category management governance
- You will lead RFI's, RFP's, RFQs, RFS's, supplier/source selection, negotiation and awarding best value
- You will implement procedures to continuously evaluate suppliers, costs and deliverability
- You will document the procurement package in accordance with FAR and company policies and procedures
What You Need to be Successful - Subcontracts Admin Staff II
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in direct procurement under US Government Prime Contract
- Strong experience subcontracting under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
- Demonstrated understanding and execution of the entire procurement cycle
- Experience establishing/developing appropriately scaled SRM framework
- Project management skills to build, manage, and meet effective procurement schedules
- Financial acumen and analytical skills required to construct pricing strategies/exhibits, conduct bid evaluation, and justify pricing reasonableness
- This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance.
