About Partner One
Partner One is a fast-growing investment group that acquires and operates industry-leading software companies. Our mission is to build strong, sustainable organizations by empowering exceptional people and driving operational excellence across our portfolio. We maintain a decentralized model that allows each business unit to operate with agility while being supported by a global shared services infrastructure.

Description
We are seeking a Business Systems Transition Specialist to support the integration, optimization, and automation of financial and operational systems across multiple software companies within the Partner One group. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role plays a critical part in aligning newly acquired entities with Partner One’s financial infrastructure and standardized reporting framework.

The ideal candidate has significant hands-on experience working across multiple companies in complex accounting environments, with a strong systems focus and deep expertise in Sage Intacct, Ramp, HubSpot, and Zoho. Experience using connectors such as Boomi or Celego to integrate and synchronize data across platforms is essential. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional capable of navigating multi-entity structures while ensuring system consistency and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead integrations and migrations between legacy systems and Partner One’s core financial and operational platforms, including Sage Intacct, Ramp, HubSpot, and Zoho.
  • Configure, optimize, and maintain Sage Intacct modules for accounting, financial reporting, and consolidation across multiple entities.
  • Implement and manage data connectors (Boomi, Celego, or similar) to automate workflows and ensure seamless data synchronization between systems.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial and operational data across all entities.
  • Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and IT teams to define business requirements and translate them into scalable system solutions.
  • Design and implement automated workflows to improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enhance reporting quality.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, data flow maps, and integration records.
  • Support the onboarding of new business units, ensuring smooth system transitions and alignment with Partner One’s reporting standards.
  • Troubleshoot integration, configuration, or data issues, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve them promptly.
  • Conduct user testing, provide end-user training, and support adoption of new systems and workflows.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business systems implementation or financial integrations, ideally across multiple companies or complex organizational structures.
  • Proven expertise with Sage Intacct (required) and familiarity with Ramp, HubSpot, and Zoho.
  • Strong technical understanding of data connectors and middleware tools such as Boomi or Celigo.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practices, with the ability to apply them to build and maintain an effective, scalable, and compliant business systems environment.
  • Solid understanding of accounting and finance workflows, including multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions, and revenue reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in system-focused roles requiring process optimization, automation, and cross-platform integration.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data management and reporting.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote, and dynamic environment supporting multiple software businesses.

Benefits

This is a full-time, remote position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. You will work directly with the CFO and global finance team, playing a key role in integrating, standardizing, and modernizing Partner One’s financial systems across its expanding portfolio of software companies.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
