The Business Systems Specialist will analyze business needs, manage SaaS and GTM applications, and support Salesforce administration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
The summary above was generated by AI

ExtraHop is reinventing Network Detection and Response (NDR) to help enterprises and organziations stay ahead of emerging threats with unmatched network visibility, context, and control.

Today’s attackers bypass traditional security defenses through identity-based entry, move invisibly across cloud, on-premise, and data center networks using encryption and trusted applications, and exploit and exit whenever they want.  But all of that movement is visible on the network... if you can see it.

By combining the power of NDR with Network Performance Management (NPM), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and forensics in a single, integrated platform, ExtraHop can decrypt and unlock complete packet-level data at wire speed, analyze and correlate it across all your networks, applications, devices, and users with cloud-scale machine learning, and provide a single interface to the SOC to detect, investigate, and remediate modern cyber risks in real time.

Position Summary

As a Business Systems Specialist, you will be a key member of ExtraHop’s IT Applications team, leveraging a broad portfolio of business applications—including Salesforce and GTM tools—to design, implement, and maintain solutions that drive operational excellence across the company. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, bridging business needs with technical solutions, and ensuring our systems scale with the organization’s growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements, translating them into scalable solutions.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain a portfolio of SaaS and GTM applications, recommending new technologies where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with developers and admins to design, test, deploy, and document solutions using standard features and custom development.
  • Administer Salesforce, including data management, security permissions, CPQ processes, and Partner Community functionality.
  • Oversee implementation, upgrades, and integrations of business applications such as LeanData, Full Circle, Highspot, Crossbeam, Workspan, Gainsight, Eloqua, and Pardot.
  • Support internal customers by triaging and resolving application-related tickets.
  • Maintain application documentation, processes, and protocols for acquisition and usage.
  • Stay informed on new features and releases, applying them to enhance business processes.
  • Participate in agile scrum teams, contributing to planning, execution, testing, and launches.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years in a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with hands-on administration of Salesforce and GTM applications.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing operations, including pipeline, territory management, and forecasting.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (Eloqua, Pardot preferred).
  • Experience in systems integration, agile methodologies, and application lifecycle management.
  • Strong data management skills with tools like Excel and Data Loader.
  • Self-directed problem solver with excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification preferred.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
