Own Salesforce and the broader B2B SaaS go-to-market systems ecosystem, including integrations, workflows, automation, data governance, routing, attribution, and data quality. Build scalable processes across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success; troubleshoot system issues; manage integration pipelines; evaluate new tools; and translate business needs into technical solutions. The role requires strong Salesforce expertise, API and automation experience, analytical fluency, and independent cross-functional collaboration.

Who You Are

You're a systems thinker who builds, not just administers. You genuinely love owning Salesforce, and you're just as interested in the ecosystem of tools around it: how data and processes flow between the CRM, lead routing, sales engagement, enrichment, and everything else plugged in.

You're happiest when you're knee-deep in a workflow that didn't exist yesterday, wiring together tools and data to make the GTM team move faster with less friction. You're analytically sharp, technically hands-on, and pragmatic about new technology, focused on what actually ships and what actually moves the number.

You're also detail-oriented and reliable. When something breaks, a flow misfires, an integration stops syncing, a field update doesn't cascade the way it should, you dig in, figure out whether the problem lives in Salesforce or in one of the tools around it, and fix it without needing a committee to weigh in. You understand that changes to a system this many people rely on need to be careful, tested, and reversible.

You build deep partnerships across RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and CS, and you enjoy making the people around you more effective and more self-sufficient. If something is broken, you fix it. If something doesn't exist yet, you build it.

Sound like you? You might be our next Business Systems Manager.

About the Role

Own the system of record

  • Own Salesforce end to end: user and license management, configuration, flows, automation rules, custom objects, routing logic, data integrity, and day-to-day upkeep.
  • Serve as the go-to person for how our systems connect: what triggers what, where data originates, and where it breaks when something changes upstream.
  • Implement data governance including source-of-truth decisions, field standards, naming conventions, and change control with RevOps stakeholders.
  • Own enrichment and data hygiene strategies including deduplication, normalization, validation, and automated QA.
  • Build and maintain a data dictionary and reporting best practices so leadership can access insights self-serve.

Own the integration layer

  • Own the health of integrations between Salesforce and the broader GTM stack: Apollo, ChiliPiper, Slack, marketing automation, quote-to-cash, call intelligence, and data warehouse connections.
  • Build and maintain integration pipelines so data flows cleanly and systems talk to each other without manual intervention.
  • Monitor data flow between systems and troubleshoot when data stops syncing correctly.
  • Design and implement lead routing, territory assignment, and attribution frameworks that scale as the GTM org grows.
  • Update and maintain core sales processes as the org evolves: new hires, team changes, territory and quota shifts.

Automate and improve

  • Build and maintain automations that scale repetitive processes across the GTM lifecycle, from MQL activation and lead routing to account health scoring and CRM hygiene.
  • Identify GTM bottlenecks and implement workflows that remove manual effort, including intelligent segmentation, auto-summarization, data entry reduction, and QA checks. Use AI where it earns its place.
  • Support initiatives like automated MQL activation, SPICED coaching, and streamlined quoting that reduces dependency on traditional CPQ tools.
  • Prototype quickly, productionize what works, and instrument outcomes so you can measure time saved, lift in conversion, and reduction in data defects.

Partner across the business

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success to translate process requirements into automated, scalable systems.
  • Be the go-to technical resource for the RevOps team, helping non-technical operators get more out of our automation tooling as the team scales.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from Sales and RevOps to fix, adjust, or extend functionality across Salesforce and connected tools.
  • Collaborate with Product Operations and Engineering when initiatives require product usage data or backend systems.
  • Evaluate new GTM tools pragmatically (build vs. buy), run pilots, define success criteria, and implement with scalability in mind.
  • Partner with Security and IT on privacy, data access boundaries, vendor risk, and responsible use of automation.
What You've Done Before:
  • 5+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, or a GTM systems role at a B2B SaaS company, with deep hands-on ownership of Salesforce including flows, automations, and object relationships. Admin certification preferred.
  • A proven history of shipping cross-functional systems projects, not just executing tickets. You create durable patterns that scale.
  • Experience managing and troubleshooting integrations across a modern GTM stack (Apollo, ChiliPiper, or similar routing, engagement, and enrichment tools). You understand how systems are meant to talk to each other, not just how to configure one tool in isolation.
  • Built workflow automations in a platform like Workato, Make, n8n, or equivalent, and connected systems via REST APIs and webhooks.
  • Strong analytical fluency: you can define KPIs, diagnose funnel issues, and maintain the data quality standards that make reporting and forecasting trustworthy. Working knowledge of SQL.
  • A strong understanding of the B2B SaaS GTM lifecycle, from lead generation and MQL activation through pipeline, deal progression, and renewal.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate trade-offs clearly to non-technical stakeholders, working independently in a fast-moving remote environment.
It'd be Great if You've Done This
  • Experience supporting a sales org through a lifecycle stage or sales process overhaul.
  • Direct experience with sales engagement, routing, or enrichment tools (e.g., Chili Piper, Apollo, Clay) and how they integrate with a CRM.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
