The Role

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for implementing and supporting the technology tools used by business stakeholders. This role requires developing a deep understanding of business processes and the systems that support them. You will identify and analyze process improvement opportunities and design both short- and long-term technology solutions to enhance business performance and support organizational change. You will collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external technical teams to define, test, and implement stable, effective tools that meet evolving business needs. In addition, you will be responsible for daily coordination with vendors to ensure timely support, issue resolution, and alignment on system functionality and enhancements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support business stakeholders by developing a thorough understanding of operational processes and systems. 

  • Day-to-day support for the operation of complex application systems, developing complex test plans and scenarios, and designing and conducting program and integrated system tests.

  • Troubleshoot stakeholder issues and collaborate with technology partners for resolution.

  • Perform daily coordination with vendors to manage ongoing support, address system issues, and align on enhancements and updates.

  • Analyze existing business processes and make recommendations for sustainable, repeatable, and scalable process improvements. 

  • Create documentation for business and technical teams. 

  • Apply data analysis and technological skills to fulfil data analysis requests, produce metric reports, and support business decisions using data. 

  • Collaborate continually with stakeholders and team members through meetings, email, Slack, and documentation.

  • Other duties as assigned

What We Value

  • 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst; preferably in healthcare, insurance, digital health, employer benefits, and other related industries

  • Experience with software integration, system integration, and technologies used including SQL queries, APIs, sFTP, etc. 

  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to provide resolution to problems of a moderate complexity

  • Creative curiosity and pragmatic innovation; understand current state and envision a path of improvement

  • Experience with Jira and Zendesk is a plus 

  • Experience with Javascript or other scripting language is a plus

The salary range for this job opportunity is $75,000 to $95,000 per year, which is the amount Angle Health anticipates paying for this position at the time of this job posting. The actual base salary offered may differ and will depend on various factors such as geographic location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
