We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Systems Analyst with extensive knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform, including Dataverse, Dataflows, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Apps. The ideal candidate will have experience in using these tools to enhance business processes and efficiency, strong expertise in business analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the capability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Location: This is approved for Remote work, however, you must be willing to work Eastern Time Zone hours. Or Hybrid if you reside in the Newport News area, per company policy.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Analyze, document, and communicate business requirements for software applications, third-party vendor packages, or infrastructure implementations.
- Serve as a liaison between department team members, multi-functional business partners, and IT.
- Work with architects and developers to ensure alignment with standard methodologies and organizational goals.
- Construct information architecture for various implementations and identify, understand, and model the information flow within business domains.
- Develop user models of information flows and activity diagrams.
- Extract and transform data from multiple unstructured sources using Power Query and Dataflows.
- Automate business processes using Power Automate.
- Develop and manage Dataverse environments, Power BI reports and custom applications using Power Apps.
- Conduct data analysis and generate insights to support decision-making.
- Support existing Airtable platform.
- Design, develop, and optimize Airtable Bases.
- Implement best practices for data organization and workflow management within Airtable.
- Perform detailed analysis of information that is discoverable for applications and recognize patterns for developing new enterprise repositories.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing processes and solutions.
- Has no direct or indirect responsibility for supervision of other associates.
- Has no budget setting or budgetary authority but may act as part of a team with responsibility for achieving project objectives within an established budget.
- Role is classified as Exempt and is not eligible to receive additional compensation for hours worked more than the relevant State and Federal standards.
- Attendance on a regular, consistent basis is mandatory including arriving at the time scheduled by your supervisor daily.
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related or business-related field, or equivalent experience in business analysis and process optimization.
- Solid understanding of Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Working knowledge of relational database management systems to include but not limited to SQL and Oracle.
- 1-3 years of experience with Airtable preferred.
- Knowledge of business process modeling and user interface standards.
- Good communication and social skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Good understanding of API integrations and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with application life-cycle management and best practices preferred.

$4,387.02 - $7,681.62-
Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
