How you will make an impact:
The Business Systems Analyst III is a senior-level role that builds on Business Analyst and Business Systems Analyst II foundations to serve as a strategic business partner to Commercial teams, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Pricing, and Revenue Management. This role sits at the forefront of developing new IT capabilities and leads complex, enterprise-wide system initiatives that support a growing global organization.
Combining deep CRM expertise (leveraging Microsoft Dynamics 365) with business process optimization and system ownership, the Business Systems Analyst III drives and implements digital transformation and system innovation across the commercial technology ecosystem. The role owns end-to-end solution design, portfolio management across multiple initiatives, supplier management, and department-wide governance, while identifying process improvement opportunities, enhancing system capabilities, and supporting integrations.
As a recognized expert in business systems and process optimization, this individual influences organizational strategy, drives adoption of best practices, and enables data-driven decision-making across Commercial functions.
- Be the Subject Matter Expert who collaborates and delivers on requirements for new business systems and enhancements.
- Lead enterprise-scale business system initiatives from concept through implementation and optimization.
- Design, Develop and test new system functionality in D365 CRM and associated Systems.
- Conduct strategic business analysis to align systems with organizational goals.
- Manage and resolve complex support tickets and process and analyze change requests.
- Lead and manage requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex, cross-functional projects.
- Support process improvement initiatives and provide expert advice on best practices in systems analysis.
- Manage supplier relationships, RFP processes, and system implementation partnerships.
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leaders and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, functional specifications, and business cases.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and manage stakeholders’ expectations.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), develop test scripts, and ensure the successful deployment of new systems.
- Mentor junior BSAs and provide guidance on complex analysis and project methodologies.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Design, develop and train others on report requirements and configure reports using inherent software capabilities as well as Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Evaluate commercial processes and recommend improvements aligned with CRM capabilities and best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain configurations, workflows, integrations, and data flows.
- Maintain data integrity through validation, data cleansing, and ongoing data quality management.
- Partner with Commercial Operations to develop and maintain CRM dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support sales performance and commercial decision-making.
The skills and experience you’ll need:
- BS in Business, Information Systems, or related field. Masters preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in business systems analysis or related roles, supporting CRM systems.
- Deep knowledge of D365 CRM, including:
- Entity configuration
- Develop advanced Power automate flows and Workflows.
- Customize forms using Java Script
- All associated system administration functions
- Development of dashboards using built in functionality and Power BI
- Custom Power apps
- 3rd party tools such as XRM toolbox and Ribbon workbench
- Familiarity with D365 (AX, Finance and Operations), or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of D365 CRM Data and table structure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including presentation skills to key stakeholders including senior management.
- Proven partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service or Commercial Operations team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including SharePoint and Teams is preferable.
- Advanced computer skills is essential including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and MS Visio and/or Azure DevOps.
- Advanced understanding of enterprise architecture and system integration.
- Experience with integrations between CRM and ERP systems and third-party applications.
- Strong supplier management and negotiation skills.
- Advanced knowledge of business analysis, SDLC methodologies, and project management.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects from inception to completion.
- Proficiency in analysis tools and project management software such as MS Project, Click-up.
- Perform necessary travel in North America and Europe, as directed, following company travel policies and using the most efficient method of travel for time and appointments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
- Understanding of business process optimization and process improvement techniques.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to work independently.

US BASE PAY SCALE $119,500 - 155,700 per year
The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
