We are looking for a motivated and self starting Microsoft 365 Business Application Developer to be a major part of the Digital Transformation Team in support of the NATO SEASPARROW Project Office (NSPO) Arlington, Virginia. Typical responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Design, development and testing of applications and tools in order to improve business processes and create efficiencies to meet business objectives
- Work with process analysts, IT professionals, business leaders and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver automation products
- Work directly with stakeholders to capture business requirements and translate them into technical approaches and designs that can be implemented
- Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions
- Maintenance of existing solutions, modifying for enhancements, troubleshooting, identifying and correcting issues
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
- Create "How to" guides for end-users
- Supports skills transfer by mentoring peers on best practices and development techniques
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications with a strong emphasis on Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Able to create technical specification documents for assigned work
- Understanding of workflow-based logic and create complex workflows
- Create interactive dashboards depicting a wide array of statistical data
- Experience creating SharePoint web pages
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelors degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Management etc)
- Demonstrated desire for continuous improvement and learning
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize the most critical tasks
- Ability to apply data organization skills
- Strong communication skills - written, oral, verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills with both junior and senior staff
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take initiative without always being directed
- Experience working with different databases (Access, SQL, MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with Python, C Sharp, SQL, XML, PowerShell, and/or Java
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Microsoft Certification in one or more of the following products: (must provide current certification evidence):
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft Power Platform
