Business Support Relationship Specialist
The Business Support Relationship Specialist discerns each client's treasury management needs (via interviews, transaction history, and modeling tools) and advises them as to the features and benefits of each product and/or service, prepares and tracks all necessary approval documentation, facilitates an error free and on-time implementation, and properly trains the client to effectively utilize each service. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for providing each client with ongoing support of all banking products and services in a manner that exceeds client expectations.
Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Establishes and maintains business relationships by evaluating client needs and recommending the appropriate treasury management products and/or services primarily through telephone, email, and chat.
  • Maintains expertise on all current banking treasury management product and service features, functionality, and pricing such that all related client inquiries and reported issues can be responded-to quickly and accurately.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of all banking business account types to be able to combine this knowledge with that of treasury management products and apply this knowledge to efficiently assess and resolve client issues.
  • Understands and explains the banking service charge structure and methodologies including fees, earnings credits, compensating balances, and account analysis system functionality.
  • Complies with all appropriate banking regulations and all banking policies and procedures including those regarding bank security and the code of conduct.

Educational Requirements

  • High School Preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional Treasury Management experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Treasury Management systems, applications, and products (E.g. ACH Origination, Online Wire Transfers, Payment Files, Positive Pay, Sweeps, ZBAs, Business Online Banking portals)
  • Call center experience resolving complex requests and escalations like phone support for advanced Business Online Banking portal functionality
  • Experience with SFTP file transfers and Treasury Management payment file processing requirements
  • Experience implementing Treasury Management products and services
