Job Summary

We are seeking an Insurance Business Project Manager III to play a pivotal role in building and maintaining Insurance Programs via ISC’s technology platforms and operational workflows. The ideal candidate will fully lead, from a project management perspective - program development, integration, overseeing the configuration of rate/quote/bind/issuance systems, and connecting business unit stakeholders across the company and leading M&A integrations. Additionally, this role will encompass responsibilities typical of a Project Manager within an insurance setting, meaning ownership of program or integration projects from start to finish, and meeting defined project timelines. Reporting to BU Management and C-level on statuses will be a key art of the role. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who excels in both insurance operations and information systems management and is eager to drive impactful changes within the insurance industry.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning of broad scale ISC projects that involve Technology, Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and Underwriting business units – this includes insurance program concepts from start to finish as well as M&A activity and Business Unit expansion projects.
  • Provide project management for cross business-unit collaboration
  • Collaborate with Technology teams and business unit stakeholders to create detailed system and workflow requirements and propose efficient solutions in line with insurance industry standards.
  • Work closely with PMO Business Analysts and Technology on design, documentation, and implementation of configurable information systems, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory standards where applicable.
  • Manage and troubleshoot system-related issues, offering technical support to users, and overseeing system upgrades or modifications to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers and underwriters evolve and maintain the rate, quote, bind, and policy issuance systems for both existing and prospective programs.
  • Facilitate a seamless transition of programs from acquired companies by collaborating with technical and underwriting teams to integrate them into the ISC platform.
  • Provide Project management, tracking, and business updates around key projects

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in commercial lines insurance underwriting or operations
  • 5+ years of project management experience
  • PMP or similar certification required
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Proficient in Jira and other Project Management Tools
  • Experience using tools such as Visio or Figma for workflow mapping preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently drive projects and tasks
  • Demonstrated experience in managing teams effectively
  • Expertise in information systems design, implementation, security, and troubleshooting within the insurance industry
  • Ability to handle multiplate tasks and provide project management capabilities

The starting annual pay scale for this position is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

ISC's salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

National Pay Range
$91,977$114,971 USD
