The Opportunity

The Document Cloud team is revolutionizing how business professionals engage with, synthesize, and share knowledge. This role is at the center of the action, bringing together the many teams that are a part of this effort to deliver results. This is an opportunity for an operational leader to make a huge impact on one of Adobe's flagship products.

Adobe is seeking a Senior Business Operations and Strategy Manager to join the Document Cloud Business Operations team. This team drives thought leadership, planning, decision, and execution processes for the Document Product Group in partnership with a broad set of partner organizations (Product Marketing, Product Management, Go to Market, Product-led Growth, Finance, Corporate Strategy, Brand, and more).

This highly visible role will partner cross-functionally to drive the successful delivery of our business and marketing strategies from development to execution. The ideal candidate loves to solve problems, is adept at building relationships in a highly matrixed environment, and thrives at the center of the action tackling problems without hesitation.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with leaders and cross-functional teams to solve issues, provide insights, and recommendations to support decision-making, and build aligned plans on pivotal initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of key initiatives including proactive identification and mitigation of risks to achieve business goals
  • Drive multiple, simultaneous, complex, strategic and operational priorities / workstreams, frequently managing large stakeholder groups
  • Identify strategic and operational improvements to improve the business including creating and refining processes to improve efficiency & simplify workflows
  • Partner across the product group with PMM, corporate marketing, product, finance, analytics, PLG, sales, and more to align multiple leaders on key topics and drive "run the business" cadences
  • Partner with functional leads to develop content and craft exec-level presentations, narratives, and emails that simply communicate sophisticated topics
  • Leverage business knowledge to develop insights that support business decisions, translating data and ambiguous topics into compelling, easy to understand narratives

What you need to succeed 

  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, business operations, program management, or product management required. Consulting experience a plus
  • Demonstrated experience working on complex cross-functional projects end-to-end and/or in highly matrixed organizations
  • Strong problem-solving skills. You're comfortable with ambiguity and capable of applying structured, logical approaches to “blank sheet” projects
  • Self-motivation and a clear bias for action with the ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to build strong relationships. We’re able to effectively engage and influence people at all organizational levels, building coalitions and communicating continuously to partner teams, collaborators, and executives.
  • Adaptability and a desire to roll up your sleeves to get things done. We color outside the lines and are willing to help the team with whatever is necessary to drive progress
  • Positivity that rubs off on those around you. You’re someone that people like to work with and you bring that positivity to a variety of situations
  • MBA is a plus
  • A sense of humor is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $99,600 -- $210,400 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
