Role Overview: We're hiring a Business Operations Manager to power the next phase Daybreak’s growth. This role blends financial modeling, business strategy, and analytics leadership to support decision-making at scale.

You'll serve as a strategic partner to leadership, owning forecasting, performance insights, and analytics infrastructure while driving cross-functional execution. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who can navigate ambiguity, structure complex problems, and translate data into action.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop & maintain financial models to forecast financial impact of new strategies, opportunities, and risks and measure actual performance against forecasts.

  • Partner with leadership to identify growth opportunities, performance risks, and capital allocation tradeoffs.

  • Build and evolve analytics infrastructure, dashboards, and reporting that create durable visibility into performance.

  • Apply structured problem-solving frameworks to ambiguous business challenges from hypothesis through execution and monitoring.

  • Navigate and manipulate data across systems, leveraging SQL familiarity, R/Python, and AI-enabled workflows to extract insights.

  • Translate complex financial and analytical outputs into clear, executive-ready recommendations.

  • Independently lead initiatives end-to-end with minimal oversight

We're looking for someone who has:

  • 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, Business Operations, or analytics

  • Strong financial modeling skills and sharp business judgment

  • Comfort navigating data and extracting insights; Expertise with SQL, with R and/or Python knowledge preferred

  • Experience building models and reporting infrastructure that support strategic decision-making

  • High Excel proficiency and executive presentation development

  • Exceptional thought partnership skills, able to own direct relationships with stakeholders and build credibility through clarity and judgment
