About the Team

The Marketing Operations PMO team’s mission is to develop scalable, repeatable practices that amplify the efficacy of the HashiCorp Marketing team. The Operations Program Manager will provide tactical support to a cross-functional team of marketers, ensuring the successful execution of processes, projects, and programs. You will also play an integral role in continuing to develop and shape our HashiCorp Operations function as we adapt and grow as an IBM software business unit. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to implement strategic initiatives, with a strong talent for project coordination and cross-functional collaboration. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for operational excellence and values humility, curiosity, adaptability, and collaboration. 

What you’ll do (responsibilities)

  • Develop actionable program plans with clear goals, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
  • Proactively identify risks or blockers and create mitigation plans to ensure successful delivery and execution
  • Support the scoping, definition, implementation, and adherence to SOPs, best practices, workflows, and processes across our various teams
  • Cross-functional project management and workflow coordination across teams including Brand Studio, Growth Marketing, and Corporate Communications. This role will support the planning and execution of integrated promotional plans and content for key initiatives such as launches, product releases, and strategic campaigns.
    • Example programs include (but are not limited to):
      • Event launch support
      • Annual marketing survey
  • Be an Asana super user; support teams in developing and systematizing projects and programs into Asana 
  • Other responsibilities as directed

What you’ll need (basic qualifications)

  • 5 years of experience in a program or project management role, ideally within a Marketing or Operations team
  • Strong ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable plans
  • Demonstrated bias for action and a proven ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Comfortable working independently while effectively partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive shared outcomes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently collaborate across teams, functions, and organizational levels
  • Experience with Asana (or other project management platforms), GSuite, Microsoft Office, Canva, Figma, and Slack, with the ability to quickly learn new tools
  • Project Management Certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent) preferred

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.

The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:
$117,300$138,000 USD
The base pay range for this role in California (excluding SF Bay Area), New York (excluding NYC), Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, Washington D.C., or Maryland is:
$107,500$126,500 USD
The base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro), Illinois, Minnesota, or Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:
$97,800$115,000 USD
