Paraform is hiring a high-agency Business Operations Lead to own core marketplace analytics and shape the decisions that drive company growth.
You’ll work directly with leadership to analyze performance, run our operating cadence, and build the systems that keep the business running at scale.
This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, loves solving problems, and can toggle between deep analysis and hands-on execution. You should be equally comfortable writing SQL, running a business review, and building playbooks.
What you'll do:
Own Marketplace Data & Analytics
Write complex SQL to analyze marketplace performance and answer core business questions (e.g., funnel conversion, supply-demand imbalances, cohort performance)
Define, track, and evolve core marketplace metrics (conversion, liquidity, time-to-fill, etc.)
Build and maintain dashboards, datasets, and reporting that drive weekly business reviews
Partner with data/engineering to improve data models, instrumentation, and metric definitions
Maintain the Operating System (business reviews / SOPs)
Manage the weekly business and functional reviews: metrics, narratives, and follow-ups
Translate insights into clear operating processes and SOPs across teams
Ensure teams are operating against clear inputs, outputs, and controllable levers
Process Design & Enforcement
Build and enforce processes for critical functions (e.g., Trust & Safety, role qualification, churn controls)
Create scalable systems—not one-off fixes—that improve consistency and execution quality
Identify where process is breaking and close gaps quickly
Cross-Functional Execution
Coordinate with Legal on contracts and compliance (e.g., ensuring proper redlines and approvals in sales workflows)
Partner with Sales, Product, and Ops to unblock issues and drive key initiatives forward
Act as a connective layer across teams to ensure alignment and speed
AI-Native Operations
Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., Claude, GPT, internal tooling) to accelerate analysis, automate workflows, and improve decision-making
Continuously identify opportunities to replace manual work with AI-driven systems
What We’re Looking For:
2–6 years of experience in consulting, finance, BizOps, or an early-stage startup
Exceptional data skills — advanced SQL skills and comfort writing complex queries on large datasets
Strong analytical thinking: able to go from ambiguous question → structured analysis → clear recommendation
Has experience in a startup or fast-paced environment; understands what it means to wear multiple hats.
Graduated from a top-tier university with a strong academic record.
Is low ego, open-minded, intellectually curious, and enjoys asking good questions.
