About the RoleWe are seeking a strategic and execution-driven Business Operations Architect to join our M&A Integration team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the lead architect responsible for unifying acquired companies’ business systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Coupa) into a cohesive operating model that fuels growth.
Rather than merging systems yourself, you’ll set the direction: analyzing technology stacks and workflows, surfacing gaps and opportunities, and writing the requirements that define the future state. Your blueprint will guide our core Business Operations and Technology teams as they execute migrations—whether consolidating Salesforce instances, aligning ERPs, or streamlining procurement platforms.
This role reports directly to the Head of M&A Integration.
Why This Role
This role places you at the intersection of M&A execution and technical architecture. Instead of maintaining legacy systems, you will define and design the future-state architecture that underpins our growth. You’ll take on the challenge of merging complex, disparate business systems and processes into a unified, scalable model that becomes the operational backbone of the company. If you are a hands-on technical leader who thrives on solving complex architectural challenges and wants to build solutions that have a direct and lasting impact on the business, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
Lead Diligence & Discovery
You'll conduct deep-dive analyses of an acquired company’s technology stack, workflows, and business processes to map the current state.
You'll review technology vendors, contracts, and scopes of work to identify risks, redundancies, and opportunities for optimization.
Architect the Integration Blueprint
You will translate your diligence findings into an end-to-end integration strategy and future-state architecture.
You'll define how to unify disparate systems and processes into a cohesive, scalable operating model.
You will create a detailed integration blueprint—including technical requirements and migration plans—with clear, executable tasks for internal technology teams.
Serve as the Strategic Partner
You'll act as the primary architectural partner and subject matter expert throughout the integration.
You will collaborate with leaders across Business Operations and Technology to ensure the blueprint is aligned, practical, and successfully executed.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience in business systems, IT, or technical consulting, with a proven track record of leading complex systems integration or migration projects.
Demonstrated, hands-on architectural expertise with core business systems, particularly ERP (NetSuite is a strong plus) and CRM (Salesforce). Experience with billing (Coupa) and HRIS (Workday) is also highly preferred.
Architectural mindset – a natural problem-solver with a hands-on approach. You excel at analyzing complex, disparate systems and designing elegant, scalable, future-state solutions.
Strong process knowledge across core finance and business functions (e.g., order-to-cash, procure-to-pay) and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, long-term technical solutions.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical designs to both technical and executive stakeholders.
Bonus Points for
Direct experience in post-merger integration (PMI) or large-scale business transformation initiatives.
