We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Business Manager, Digital Operations, to support end-to-end operational visibility across our fast-paced digital business. This role is embedded within the NFL Media Business Operations team and serves as a liaison between NFL Media business units and other shared services (i.e., Finance, HR), helping connect spend to outcomes across our direct-to-consumer (DTC) and digital business initiatives—including e-commerce, digital marketing, content operations, and subscription services. You’ll work cross-functionally with DTC, product, tech, vendor management, marketing, content, and leadership teams to track resource usage, document outputs to determine return on investment (ROI) for critical initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Investment & Initiative Mapping
    • Track, organize, and connect digital media platform initiatives to investments, vendor contracts, resources, and outputs
    • Work cross-functionally to collect inputs, clarify initiative intent, and provide relevant business context
    • Maintain organized records that tie vendors, contracts, resources, and outputs to initiatives
    • Help ensure business readiness for leadership investment reviews
    • Create a yearly repeatable and scalable investment review process
  • Planning & ROI Enablement
    • Support scenario planning in partnership with cross-functional leads
    • Help lead monthly and quarterly investment reviews, delivering business context, performance insights, and ROI narratives
    • Contribute to annual planning cycles with data-backed inputs and initiative-based analysis
    • Surface investment opportunities or areas of underutilization through contract and vendor analysis
    • Provide input into long-term planning by documenting how investments evolve in alignment with business strategy
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a business partner across digital, DTC, content, product, and vendor management teams—connecting investments to outputs
    • Create transparency for leadership by organizing investments, contract data, resource usage, and performance outputs into functional views
    • Help align cross-functional teams on key priorities and how resources are allocated
    • Document and support investment decision-making by tying investments to business impact

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Planning, Business Operations, Vendor Management, or Digital Media, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Strategic Planning, Business Operations, Vendor Management, Digital Media, or a related field, preferably in a DTC or e-commerce environment
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and BI tools
  • Strong understanding of digital/streaming platforms and technologies
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders with data-driven insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a high-growth digital or consumer brand, media, entertainment, or technology industries
  • Understanding of subscription models, content platforms, digital funnels, and performance marketing metrics
  • ROI analysis, cohort analysis, unit economics, vendor and contract management, or resource allocation

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting, that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.


Salary
$100,000$130,000 USD

This role requires onsite presence at an NFL office or stadium location, and remote and/or hybrid working options are not offered.
