Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst III is responsible for maintaining Gen Mobile operational and billing processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with best practices. This role will work BSS/OSS initiatives, reporting, data analysis, revenue leakage management, business process improvements, CDR reconciliation, system integrations, system automations and migrations. The Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst III will also monitor financial and operational metrics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement strategies to optimize performance. This position reports directly to the Sr Operations Analyst.

Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Project Management
- Help with the planning and execution of projects, including requirement gathering, prioritization, deployment, and implementation.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency and minimize revenue leakage.
- Support Call Center, Procurement, Fulfillment, and Billing Operations as assigned.
- Partner with Fraud, Cost Assurance, IT, and other teams to enhance processes and security measures.
- Maintain compliance with business policies while promoting retail wireless initiatives
Billing & Revenue Assurance
- Assist with billing processes and procedures to ensure accurate customer billing.
- Develop and refine mediation rules and usage flows within the billing system.
- Conduct rating and margin analysis, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Research and resolve customer charge discrepancies, ensuring proper application.
- Audit and update new company products, plans, and customer ratings.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze financial and operational data/reports to identify trends and areas of improvement.
- Develop and present reports to stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Reconcile and integrate carrier billing data to ensure accuracy.
- Work cross-functionally with Data Mart teams to develop and implement system automations.
- Produce, maintain, and process invoices for commissions and residuals for different sales channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree or a minimum of two years of telecom, business, or customer service analytics related experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks and well organized
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work and think independently, and to exercise independent judgment
- Effectively organize, manage, and perform work assignments
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, Snowflake
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience data processing such as ETL Pipelines
- Must be flexible to accommodate changing business requirements
- Detail oriented
- Bilingual Spanish is preferred
