Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking a skilled, motivated, and innovative Business Intelligence First Line Leader to join the Business Operations Business Strategy, Management & Intelligence Team in Seattle, WA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy development and integration of our business intelligence solutions across BT&E. This manager will lead a team in the development and deployment of business intelligence solutions to support BT&E to run the business predictably, effectively and efficiently.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in leading a team responsible for developing and deploying business intelligence models, dashboards, metrics and reports for the improvement of business productivity. Seeking a candidate who can drive integration across the team, and the business, with the ability to evaluate and comprehend project requirements and/or specifications and translate them into solutions that meet our stakeholders' needs. The ideal candidate will have strong integration and project management skills ensuring an effective system is in place to intake, prioritize, integrate and deploy strategic solutions to best support the business. This candidate will also have experience and working knowledge of data analytics, information systems and database management.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, guidance and direction to ensure the effective management of our BT&E Business Intelligence team
- Drive integration and project management standards to effectively intake, prioritize and deploy business intelligence solutions
- Partner with teammates to develop and implement BI solutions utilizing Application Lifecycle Management processes and best practices
- Develop and drive strategy in alignment with BT&E goals and priorities
- Proactively identify business needs and connect the dots to deliver business solutions to drive predictability and effectiveness
- Integrate with the development team and project managers to clearly articulate status through project management tools such as Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Familiarity with SQL, PLSQL, ETL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, .NET, and/or Python
- Manage employees performing business intelligence and project management activities
- Develop and execute project and process plans
- Coordinate with product owners and subject matter experts
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
- Monitors and adjusts program or business unit work statement capacity
- Manages, develops and motivates employees
- Manages and provides developmental opportunities for employees
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of experience in management or leading teams
- 5+ years of experience in the development and deployment of business intelligence solutions (utilizing SQL, PLSQL, ETL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Angular, .NET, and/or Python)
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
- 3+ years of experience in roles in engaging senior level executives and/or customers
- Able to travel 10% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, project management or similar
- Experience managing products with web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Experience with Microsoft Excel application using advanced features such as formulas, VLookups, Power Query, Macros and PowerPivot
- Knowledge and understanding of predictive and prescriptive analytics (ex: Python, R, etc.)
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and working in an agile project environment
- Excellent verbal, written communication and organizational skills
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Experience in developing and implementing strategy and integration
- Experience in project management
