THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst at Medical Home Network plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you’ll develop and maintain our visualizations, create impactful dashboards and reports, and provide analyses that translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights.
 
This position is ideal for an analyst who enjoys hands-on work with data, developing visualization tools, and supporting internal teams in using data effectively to advance MHN’s mission.

  • Hybrid schedule: Candidates within 50 miles of Chicago are expected to work onsite 2 days per week and remotely for 3 days. Fully remote options are available for candidates located outside this area.

WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:

  • Partner with internal teams to understand business needs and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
  • Build interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations that effectively communicate key performance trends and outcomes.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of a Snowflake based data platform supporting analysis and reporting needs.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources (e.g., claims, EHR, operational data) to support initiatives related to population health and value-based care.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing dashboards and reporting products, including troubleshooting and user guidance.
  • Collaborate across technology and operations teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Analytics, Statistics, Health Informatics, or related discipline), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query and transform data for reporting and analysis.
  • Experience building dashboards and data visualizations preferably in Tableau, but we’re looking for a next generation capability as well
  • 4 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR, clinical, or quality metrics).
  • Familiarity with data transformation tools such as dbt, Alteryx, or SSIS.
  • Experience with value-based care, population health, or managed care analytics.
  • Experience providing user support and training for reporting tools or dashboards.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality assurance.
