Summary:

As the Business Intelligence Developer, this individual will design, build, and maintain QLIK based dashboards and reporting solutions that support both client facing and internal analytics. The role focuses on developing high quality, repeatable reporting in QLIK Cloud using sound data modeling and visualization practices, while working closely with analysts, developers, and client teams to turn business questions into accurate and actionable reports.

Typical functions include, but are not limited to, developing and enhancing QLIK applications, maintaining and optimizing existing dashboards, creating and managing QLIK data models, querying data with SQL, troubleshooting data and report issues, and implementing automation and best practices in reporting.

The Data Integration Developer will report to the Manager of Analytics and be a member of the Analytics team that supports RxConnection’s internal stakeholders and external clients with reliable, timely reporting and insights.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Design, develop, and maintain QLIK dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support recurring client all standard reporting, internal performance monitoring, and ad hoc analysis.

  • Build and maintain QLIK data models, including scripting to load, transform, and integrate data from multiple internal and external sources.

  • Develop data driven, informative subscription notifications for all users.

  • Integrate inphinity forms into QLIK by designing interactive dashboards for feedback and what-if analysis.

  • Work with analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into QLIK requirements, including measures, KPIs, filters, visualizations, variable based reporting, and drill paths.

  • Validate data and business logic in QLIK applications by writing and reviewing SQL queries, performing reconciliations, and partnering with data operations and IT as needed.

  • Optimize existing QLIK apps for performance, usability, and maintainability, including refactoring legacy content and standardizing layout, filters, and navigation where appropriate.

  • Support automation of recurring reports and processes, reducing manual effort and improving timeliness and consistency of delivery.

  • Provide level two support for QLIK reporting, including investigating data or display issues, resolving defects, and implementing enhancements requested by internal teams or clients.

  • Document QLIK applications, data flows, and key business rules so that other team members can understand, support, and extend them over time.

  • Contribute to reporting standards, templates, and best practices that help address client perceptions of reporting “staleness” and keep deliverables current, usable, and visually clear.

  • Utilize the QLIK technology stack to integration AI capabilities into internal and external analytics.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience developing QLIK applications, including QLIK scripting for data loading and transformation, QLIK automations, and QLIK visualizations.

  • Proficient in Business Intelligence and reporting concepts, including dimensional modeling, KPIs, dashboards, and self-service style user interface reporting.

  • Strong SQL skills for querying and validating data in relational databases or data warehouses.

  • Solid understanding of data quality concepts, including data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis.

  • Good communicator who can work effectively with analysts, audit leaders, operations, IT, and client-facing teams to clarify requirements and iterate on reporting.

  • Ability to gather and document business requirements, conduct requirements gathering meetings, and prioritize stakeholder tasks.

  • Creative problem solver who is automation focused and looks for opportunities to streamline recurring or previously manual reporting.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or analytics, including hands on work with QLIK and SQL.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with Pharmacy, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), and/or Healthcare data preferred.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $80,000 to $90,000 per year.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
