Position OverviewStage3 is seeking a seasoned business development leader with a proven track record in selling digital content to Fortune 1000 companies. The ideal candidate can initiate and build relationships, identify new sales opportunities, drive new business, and create high-value partnerships. As a leader in our company, you will be responsible for new revenue growth by identifying, pitching, and closing deals with top-tier clients.
Agency experience with Fortune 1000 companies is a must. Additionally, a strong industry network and an ability to influence senior-level decision-makers is critical for success in this role.
What You’ll DoBusiness Development Strategy. Develop and implement an ambitious business development strategy to drive revenue growth and expand Stage3’s client portfolio.
Lead Generation, Networking & Prospecting. Identify and prospect potential clients within the company’s ICP. Build trusting relationships with decision-makers and other influential personnel. Utilize multiple channels to build relationships, including online platforms, direct outreach, events, and conferences.
Sales & Negotiation. Lead sales pitches, presentations, and negotiations to close new business opportunities. Present proposals with customized solutions designed to meet the client's needs.
Collaborate with Creative. Work closely with the Creative team and other relevant team members to develop RFP responses and compelling pitches designed to win new clients. Ensure all efforts align with the company’s brand positioning and strategic goals.
Industry Research. Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies that may impact our content marketing offerings. Identify new opportunities for innovation and growth.
Reporting & Performance Tracking. Maintain updated and accurate tracking related to all business development efforts to ensure transparency with leadership. Achieve specific quarterly and annual sales targets.
Team Collaboration. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (creative, account, project management, etc.) to ensure smooth transitions and set Stage3 up for success once the new business is secured.
What You Bring8+ years in business development or sales within the marketing or creative agency
industry
Proven track record of securing 6- and 7-figure deals from enterprise-level clients
Experience managing budgets and exceeding sales goals
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Exceptional relationship-building and client management skills
Proficiency with CRM software and Google Drive
Ability to effectively motivate employees
Deep understanding of content marketing strategies and tactics
Deep understanding of content development lifecycles
